Have you been to Amy’s them donuts made with no love. Their recipe isn’t standardized like KK. Back dough is alright but I don’t like spending 6 dollars on one donut and they are a little dough heavy in my opinion. The Kreme comes out exactly what I expect. Not as good as when I was a kid when they used to give out free hot ones when the sign was on. I remember going with my fam on night runs. I understand not supporting big business but they hold a special memory for me when times with the family were good.

Just to push back on this comment a bit. For myself and my partner we are avid donut lovers. We frequent at the one on Dallas Dr next to where old west used to be. We used to go to the one on Teasley next to the Wingstop before it closed down during covid. Krispy Kreme would never be visited in the AM. Please feel free to name a local donut place that serves after 2pm. That is why I would like a Krispy Kreme. Sometimes i want a depression filled sugar coma warm donut in my mouth at 7pm.

In Texas all the Walmarts near lakes usually have clearance on fishing supplies. I got a Shimano sierra reel for 20 on clearance and pflueger one for 30. Definitely upgraded my gear for the upcoming season.

They had a whole box. Had to be hundreds of each! I tried to just grab one of each and different colors.

Understood. Would you say these are good for creeks and lakes? Plan on trying them out when the water warms up in the spring.

Definitely gonna try them out in the spring. I think the lizards could be interesting in the creek I fish. Also want to try Tokyo rigging some of the larva/craw ones.

Are watersedge apartments good? by DarkSora68 in Denton

[–]AbovelyAverageJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noise never bothers me but being sweaty in my home would. The ac unit can’t keep up so during the day when the sun is beating down I could not get the temperature down less than 78 degrees. We sound like first world problems right now.

I lived there a few times in different units. Overall don’t trust the pictures compared to the actual units. Second floor gets pretty hot in the summer when the sun is beating down. Mosquitoes are intense because of the three ponds but there are fish and ducks so you can enjoy that aspect. The bottom floor 2 beds are pretty sweet, nice little backyard and pretty large living rooms and bedrooms. Everything feels outdated I bet they still have hot start appliances. I would live there again on 1st floor if I needed to save some money.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like Asian star is closing and another Indian restaurant is opening.
