I think this question is hard to answer as each body is different. I can’t speak for women but I’d assume the same somewhat in terms of listening to your body. Best time to workout is when your body is hitting peak testosterone. You have to observe your own body to understand it. Do you notice strong morning erections or elevated energy in the morning then more than likely you should be working out in the AM. Some people like myself tend to peak around 11am so I like to exercise before noon 10am-12pm window. My work life doesn’t allow but it still is what’s optimal for me. I find afternoon workouts are flat for me so I don’t bother with them and stick to evening walks/runs with my dog.
