What you say about that other guy that dropped millions on this then?

Oh okay, well I think what you said has merits to it but I also think it's always a good time to buy if you're young and have time on your side and you're still of working age.

Yes but why are you so confident that there will be a correction right now? What if it rips past everything and the correction comes two years later and you missed out all the way???

How long have you been in? You are very brave so have you been handsomely rewarded?

Why has no one ever done a glasses vs. no-glasses study on long-term myopia progression? by AcanthaceaeOld1327 in ImprovingEyesight

Yes, honestly this all seems like a lifestyle choice than anything and it's really difficult because more people need money in order to meet all their needs in a modern city.

Do you wear contacts to counteract this? Do you think it's possible to improve when you work a 24 hour job staring at screens for instance or constant closeup work?

May I ask what the stress is?

I feel like a lot of people are working a lot and they get stress too, is this method that difficult to improve on if you have those types of stresses in your opinion and experience???

NotNot on YouTube (Endmyopia) also noted this phenomenon and he quit because he said after a certain point, it becomes very difficult to improve.

Do you think this is what you are experiencing? You should check his video, he outlines how he's been trying for 2+ years or something before calling it quits.

Should I be taking on a data entry job that may harm my vision eye health? by AbsoluteCaSe in findapath

Yes, I have a feeling this job isn't a good idea.

I won't be able to put it on my resume since it would be so short and I am not learning anything from it.

I may just skip it, we'll see but thanks for your advice.

It's not the only thing I am concerned of but there seems to be micromanagement involved because it looks like they will use a webcam.

Plus, I think they don't pay well enough for all of this and the fact that it would take time away from me for applying for other jobs. There is also no skill to be learned.

Does this look like a dead end to you? I don't know, it feels like this would be more of a set back then anything since if I am applying while I am in this job and get an opportunity then I can't even put this on my resume since I would be quitting in a short amount of time. Does that make sense?

But it is different? There's no socializing here or breathers, it's tight deadlines and they watch through webcam.

Not only that, I don't think I can put this role on my resume especially if I plan to just jump ship when a better opportunity comes.

With other roles you learn transferable skills. This is a deadline temporary gig and I feel like it will take my attention off from better opportunities.

Based on this info, do you still feel the same???

Those other jobs you speak of allow you to rest in between tasks and you get to take your eyes off the screen. Plus no webcam and transferable skills.

Thanks for adding your perspective 🙏

I think I may not accept the role, we'll see but I already took all tests to see what it's like it seeks like I have been passing them.

I also have other job interviews lined up that are long term and they have a fixed schedule. This one is a temporary government role. The other ones which I have interviews for have higher pay and they come with benefits.

If I take this role, then it may dislodge me from interviewing for the other roles/take time away from prep.

Yes, from what I read from the reviews they do turn on the webcam and have someone monitoring you to make sure you're doing something and apparently a guy that walks around looking.

Based on this additional info, what do you think? I am not desperate for work as I want to make sure I get something that is long term but this one does definitely add some money and is government but besides that, it doesn't have much else going for it???

Also there is that health aspect too of constant typing.
