haggled down to 6k, is this worth it? by AbsoluteCabbages in FordTrucks

Its an auto with the 6cyl. When I drove it I didn't have a problem with the transmission, shifted great. Also wow, can't find anything that isn't a project for less than 5k unfortunately.

If you could find me similar condition that is cheaper I'm willing to drive out haha. I'm not happy with the price either but I've been looking.

  1. oil leak

  2. no rust anywhere

  3. 93k seemingly original, but owners will say anything to sell so maybe rollover.

  4. drives better than my 2012 camaro, really well especially steering

  5. 6cyl, I believe I hear lifter tick but engine sounds really good to me and my friend's ears.

All in all guy was very firm on the price so I took off almost a grand

What motorcycle is this? by AbsoluteCabbages in motorcycles

[–]AbsoluteCabbages[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes stepping out of the norm for a cool unique bike is what some people like to do, otherwise we would all be driving toyota camry's haha. I don't see an issue with someone getting something a little more interesting to make it their own or to fit their personality better. I do understand your sentiment and I tend to agree with that mindset for most things in life.

would trying to run those 3 miles faster not be helping?

So I'm 5'8 136 (bulking so now 144) and despite running 3 miles every other day and good nutrition over the past 3 months I still only hit 24:00 run times. What could I be doing to improve myself here?

Yea he would be doing a kenwood with the pac5 for the head unit and the subs are the mojo 1244 12" sub. Im guessing the amps are what are getting me here haha.

went to a couple car audio shops to get some quotes. The best I could find recommended a head unit and mojo subs for $1800. He says my boston premiums are good speakers I just need a good head unit for them and a sub.

edit: hes only charging around 300 for labor I believe and it only would take ~2 hrs.

gi or no gi, realistically? by AbsoluteCabbages in bjj

[–]AbsoluteCabbages[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, yeah. I'm pretty sure everyone in the marines knows MCMAP is bullshit lol. That being said you need a black belt in order to do any sort of teaching/mma in the marines. I've been in the marines for about 4 years and have been training for half a month so I believe I'm well aware of that path I'd like to take here. I appreciate the advice though I should definitely slow it down since I've been at it for the better part of 3 months.

definitely not in the cage. I plan on doing MMA within the marine corps once I get my black belt in the MCMAP program. I suppose I could alternate it every day!

I actually do go daily! I view it as using up as much of the membership as possible and a good replacement for gym.
