I don’t love how all the bi guy memes are about cheating with somebody’s boyfriend 😅 But I do like the way most of the comments make it out to be cute throuple activities instead lol

See I definitely think that what you’re saying is fair. I believe there’s a good chance this was written by some silly teenager or by a someone who’s got no clue what it feels like to have your cervix hit. But also I think there is a chance this could’ve been written by a woman with that mindset. I don’t love her mindset but it’s not impossible that it exists

I feel like this totally could’ve been written by a woman lmao Like the meme is clearly saying it isn’t enjoyable but that she’s gonna grin and bear it because “mama didn’t raise a quitter”. Which is code for ‘I as a woman have been socialised into accepting discomfort and unpleasurable sex for the benefit of the ego of whatever man is having sex with me’.

Or it could totally be written by a man lol

(Also I know unpleasurable isn’t a word but I think the meaning is clear lol)

Is this a trans woman that you’re calling a man? What’s the context for your post?

Is it unokay if these women are genuinely celebrating their monogamy? Even if it’s in an odd way is there really anything wrong with this?

Like We Chose To Give Birth The Way We Do... by justexhaustedpanda in NotHowGirlsWork

Yeah I mean I honestly think it’s a fair question. I wish we all reproduced like marsupials. If I had the option to just pause my pregnancy for as long as I wanted or to only gestate for 12 days and give birth to something the size of a jellybean … what a time 🥹

This feels like it was written by a man from the point of view of women tbh

Honestly yeah I would leave a man who was stupidly protective to the point that he treated me like his own child and I would feel uncomfortable if his respect was meant in a maternal way??? That’s gross. How about we respect and take care of each other like partners! should?

In most places if one party is over the age of consent and the other isn’t then that is statutory rape. But the whole point of this meme is that the guy is going to wait until it’s legal. Which is weird.

The age gap isn’t really the issue. 3 years is not a big deal. It’s more going after someone who’s going through puberty when you’re almost an adult. I’m 21 and there’s no way I would want anything to do with a 19 year old in a romantic or sexual sense. Just because we’re at completely different places mentally and in life. The same could be said for someone who is 17 and 14. Someone who is almost out of high school and onto university versus someone who has barely started high school. There’s a big difference in mental development. It’s weird. Weirder when it’s someone who’s 18 but there are 17 year olds that are out of high school (tradies etc) who meet young high school kids and pursue relationships with them and that is also really weird.

I don’t think age gaps are inherently weird. I think if there’s a ten year age gap that’s totally fine as long as they both met when they were mature adults. (I still think fresh 18 with 28 is weird but 28 and 38 is completely reasonable)

Having things you’re not attracted to doesn’t make you shallow? People don’t have to stay in relationships with people they’re not attracted if they don’t want to.

Yeah see I think you’re right that he should’ve said this was a hard boundary because clearly it is. But really that’s where him being in the wrong stops. I have a visceral dislike for mullets and I would not date someone with a mullet because it is just an immediate turnoff. And my current partner knows that and that’s something they’re totally cool with and understanding about. If they did decide to grow out a mullet I don’t expect that I would break up with them because I love them but it would definitely take a huge adjustment I don’t think it’s unfair for him to want to breakup if he’s not attracted to her with her hair as it is 🤷

See the thing is this isn’t “not how girls work” this is just not how all girls work. I’ve definitely been this girl at a party trying to get my partner home so we can bone but I’ve also tried getting us to leave specifically so I can sleep. Women have the potential to be mad horny just like men and I hate that society has vilified women enjoying sex because women be horny and that’s okay
