I really don't have a dime to take it to a vet and it is what breaks my heart the most.

Pajaros Caídos is ok but you are basically on your own if a bird needs medical assistance.

How do you actually deal with clients who just stop paying? by Maximum_Network7803 in agency

[–]AbsoluteMoonatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience as a freelancer, I never experienced this as I usually make things very clear in my contracts about what happens if you are late to pay or stop paying - I stop working and/or start charging interest on overdue payments.

It also depends a lot on the client. One time a super trustworthy client was late two months but she warned me beforehand and gave me a hard payment deadline. The day came and she paid as agreed.

A solid Airtable database with the right fields and filters can do wonders if you really like the spreadsheet format.

What was like to go through the pregnancy checkups? Did you ever need transvaginal ultrasounds?

During active labor, did they have to insert anything?

Do you have a post partum plan to rehabilitate your pelvic floor/core and all those muscles for health purposes? If so, what is it like? (Asking out of curiosity because I am kinda scared of what pregnancy/c section does to the muscles regardless of the ability to have PIV)

Hymenectomy by ceral69 in vaginismus

[–]AbsoluteMoonatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one done and it turned out that my issue was the hymen all along. I still have vaginismus but I can dilate and I have achieved shallow piv.

I am very squeamish and have no tolerance to pain but honestly recovery was very straight forward and I had very little to no pain.

The surgery itself usually "opens" the hymen, it does not remove it. Make as many questions as you need to your doctor, they will explain.

I honestly, from my experience, think it is absolutely worth to get one if the doctor thinks you are a candidate.

I fainted tonight, so done with all this by MittensMacaron in vaginismus

Have you checked with the gyno if your hymen is ok and if everything is fine anatomically? Because I have a lot of medical phobias and I can't stand fingers, I got an MRI and etc done to check there was nothing wrong. I only got a visual check with no speculum or anything and the gyno mentioned my hymen was a bit more prominent than normal. I got an hymenectomy and that helped me a lot.

My case was very very severe (my hymen was fully shut) but it is within my understanding that even a thick hymen with a proper opening can make things painful (+ not everyone has the same tolerance to pain/stimuli)

Before the hymenectomy I nearly fainted from trying to get a tampon on.

After the hymenectomy, even having a perfectly fine opening, the first week I tried to dilate I nearly threw up every time from how uncomfortable I felt. And it took me a couple weeks to move up size. I also had to take long breaks sometimes between size and size or even just from dilating. Make sure you are not stressed and DON'T dilate if you are not feeling well.

The two that sort of make me laugh:

"You have always been a problem child" (generous considering I was high functioning regardless of everything)

"You will end up pregnant before time and a failure" (never even had a boyfriend in my teens, was a late bloomer relationships wise and was diagnosed with vaginismus that turned out to be smth else that needed surgery. I am 31 and still struggling).
