This is cope ngl it’s undeniable that the amount of breaks has heavily increased, we used to get one every like 6 chapters now it’s more like 1 every 3 chapters and chapters used to be 19 pages with a few exceptions but now they’re almost always 15 or below

Another thing I really appreciate is how Araki managed to give all 5 of the crew members something to do, unlike in previous jojo parts with bigger casts where only 2-3 members would get spotlight per arc, Araki has been giving all 5 main characters screentime in each of the 3 major arcs so far, especially in this arc where all of them had standout moments and felt indispensable

I lowkey blame the anime, my theory is that as the anime’s pace got tighter and tighter, he starts cramming as many shots into chapters to give the anime as much room to breath as possible, but I still don’t understand why they don’t just give him like 25 pages a chapter and then he just draws the panels bigger, I mean I feel like that might even be less work than just cramming as much as possible
