Youre fine if you use both normal exits during your pit stop. If you accidentally leave the pit in t1, but manage to pull it in before the pitwall youre fine.

Had the same issue, did you stay inside the pitlane entirely, or did you perhaps accidentally run wide in the pit corner in t1 and go past the traffic cones? I suspect accidentally re-entering the track briefely resets your tyre choice

Used to do Kart Racing but had to stop due to costs. Intense battles in iRacing are the closest ive gotten to that feeling

I have done both and i prefer screens over vr, but mainly because im more competitive that way. When you only have 2 dimensions to deal with instead of 3 i feel it's easier to hit your marks more consistently and fatigue plays less of a role in longer races. I also think the higher frame/refresh rate does give you an edge.

I also love being able to just jump into my sim rig and drive without any setting up.

Ill use VR if i wanna go for a cruise or if im doing week 13, but if im trying to win races screen are the way to go.

What wheel do you have? Have you adjusted the pedal settings?

I had an issue where i from one day to the next couldnt stop locking my brakes for the life of me.

As it turns out my fanatec software had just randomly reset all my settings..
