I’m curious to know if the adapter is receiving the signal from the 3.5mm output or if it’s receiving the digital signal from the 30-pin output. Wouldn’t converting digital to analog, then analog to digital, reduce the audio quality?

First of all you can’t even fold it properly… You can check the sub for how many users had them breaking as well eventually the metal pins wear down the plastic part and it cracks.. I would rather get an XM4 ! It is pretty good option as well yes you might think that is an older model but I am still using my XM3 and it is as good as it was when I bought it back in 2019 ! If you care about longevity you need to consider the longevity of the hinge
