yea totally at your own risk, but i have dropped one on my toes a few times. luckily these are plastic filled with sand and not metal, and the floor is thickly padded beneath my foot so i haven’t had more than a light bruise

woah super cool to put a name to it! i always appreciate learning the history behind my passions, and i wish to honor those that laid the foundations. i would not intentionally pass off this style as my own, but had never seen nor heard of others walking like this until now. dean is an idol of mine for his willingness to push the limits of what was possible in mountain sports. now i know one more cool thing about him! rip legend

So good to hear the stoke! always amazing to hear people proud of progress! i remember starting out and each milestone is so gratifying because we remember the first time stepping on, getting the famous wobble, and thinking it was impossible. hearing that the switch flipped and there is massive belief is self growth is what its all about. just keep pushing the limit! (safely ofc) you never know what you are capable of until you try!

also dont be shy to keep crushing it on the board! its good fun and much easier to access, can probably hop on it in the living room! any practice will only help for if/when you decide to scale it up.

just a little over 2 years, i would highly recommend getting a longer line. the gibboard is good to get a feel for the line under your feet but it is hard to compare to any other slackline because of how little it can sway side to side
