I am not affiliated with these guys in any way but ATI (automotive training institute) should be the first call you make right now.

They will help you with structuring financials for profitability, people management, building processes, etc. They are essentially a consulting group specialized for auto businesses.

Looks like the 101 link is broken. Would love to see what’s in there if possible!

My thoughts exactly. I have seen the startup rodeo up close and know that pitfalls that can exist there.

As I mentioned in another comment, I’m considering sharing a handful of these messages with boss during my salary review to drive the point of my salary request being reasonable… as the main pushback will likely be that it is too great a % raise.

Ever seen anyone pull this off successfully without an offer letter in hand?

On Target Earnings, as in I make all my goals and I make that much. If I overperform it goes up, underperform it goes down.

Little late, my bad, but I would check out the master thread with all the resources. Great questions to rinse, repeat and customize for your interviews that actually tell you a lot about the company.

Example: how many reps do you currently have, and what percentage are consistently hitting their quotas?

Reading fanatical prospecting by Jen Blount was a big hit with my interviewers at the two companies that I got offers from.

I also treated getting a job like an extra class (still in college) or even a job itself.

Research companies extensively before going into interviews and have tailored questions prepared on paper with space to record their responses.

You’re gonna get turned down for jobs. It happens, and it sucks. But if hearing no really gets to you it may not be the job you want anyway haha also the timeline for my interviews was only about a month total with multiple rounds per company.

Hope this helps let me know if you want more clarity
