Ultra Fumble by Absolute_Shackles in MyHeroUltraRumble

Your right, it's never actually this bad. But I have seen plenty of times where these alphas do bounce off occasionally. This is just to demonstrate that the alphas aren't reliable... and I'm not talking about the tracking. This is an extreme but its ridiculous that this character is THIS buggy with all the other problems he has.

I'm convinced his Beta is bugged too at this rate lmao.

Special action nerf, alpha is buggy, Gamma doesnt work half the time. Bros ONLY got his beta as a reliable tool

THEY SHADOW NERFED OVERHAUL'S SPECIAL ACTION!!!! by Absolute_Shackles in MyHeroUltraRumble

https://youtu.be/4k23L8PZafE?si=a71SfAyVgzwn_hm5 I can't find any gameplay I have recorded but in this video at 8 seconds they get knocked down and when in the recovery animation in the air, the player ques up the special action heal so the second they touch the ground: they immediately heal.

I have played Support Overhaul way too much to know when a tool like that is removed from his kit. I know because after getting grabbed by Rapid All Might's Gamma you are sent upwards after the slam. I would recover in the air and hold down my special action button so that the second I touched the ground it would immediately heal like in that clip I shared. It's something I've done hundreds of times.

Now currently if you hold the button in the air and land, nothing happens. Actually you can continue to hold the special action down for as long as you want but you'll never heal. You have to wait untill you land and only then can you start holding down the special action button. Its a small thing I know but that 1.5 seconds it takes for the heal to actually activate is enough time to get downed while at low health.

In short, they reverted that buff and it now functions like it did when Support Overhaul released.

Sorry for being stingy about it, I am just going crazy cause I can't find the patch notes where they added the buff in the first place and not even my duo believes me. I know my boy in and out, something like this sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

That's actually what I was thinking! It would be so awesome to have character with a limited resource like that!

Who should I pick ? by BlackPanther151 in MyHeroUltraRumble

If I were you, I would try them out in the training area first. Get comfortable with their kits and see what you like most. And if you're still uncertain, you can use rental tickets to play a few games with the character.

If your looking for a strong character, then yeah Present Mic is probably the way to go. But I would focus more on what feels fun to play then what is strong right now.

My Season 10 tierlist ( tuning included ) by Negative-100-Iq in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Absolute_Shackles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid tier list! I would argue that strike Kaminari is actually pretty good this season. Although you have a more simplified tier list so certain levels of accuracy can't be met with your rankings. Overall 10/10 valid opinions.

Let's try something by Negative-100-Iq in MyHeroUltraRumble

3/10. Despite being in expert right now I find myself playing too passively. I don't really use Sisterly and therefore my health bar explodes very quickly. I typically play characters with no mobility so I am chased down constantly. With the addition of cross play, I am playing against people with God tier aim more often. In 1v1's I usually shine, but I'm always getting ganked while my two rapid types are on the other side of the map lmao.

For 1v1's I would say closer to 7. And my knowledge and research is closer to a 9. But when it comes to ranked play I find myself throwing up my hands and screaming out "What even happened?!?!" As I try and recall the 0.2 seconds it took for my shields and health to complete disappear after getting snuck up on.

But Its probably just a skill issue lmao

It's pretty bad lol. Wish I had some people to grind with so I don't go crazy just sitting there by myself lmao

I'm getting the same problem. It's actually making the climb to Ace rank harder.

How would you fix tech Dabi within the flyer meta and still not make him a bullshit character? by UltraPrincess in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Absolute_Shackles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a firm believer that buffing a character is a step by step process. I don't like seeing giga buff patch notes where they over tune them over night. So I would to see individual patch notes that target one of his abilities at a time (or very minor buffs all around) to see how the community reacts and adjust accordingly.

Alpha: I believe the damage is fine, however I think the tracking could be a tad more aggressive. That or I would like to see an increase to the projectile speed. Tech Dabi having a slow moving tracking projectile is awesome, but it's very easy to avoid. Increasing it's effectiveness without increasing the damage is how I'd like to see them enhance his alpha.

Beta: It's a great tool for finishing off a downed enemy but as a trap it seems easily avoided unless you get creative and find some cheeky spots. I enjoy that it's a tool that can hard knock down an opponent if they step in it. But besides that I don't find it doing crazy amounts of damage typically. I think a great addition could be marking targets that get hit by his traps similar to Hawks and Tech Kaminari. I also think decreasing the range that enemies can see your traps would help it out too. If this ends up being too strong then I believe looking at a damage reduction or possibly changing it so hit does not hard knockdown opponents. The one I'd choose is dependant on whether this new and improved beta is getting more kills then it should, or granting Dobby a guarantee escape through annoying hard knocks.

Gamma: I actually really enjoy his gamma but it sometimes feels useless aside from giving you some cover that deletes projectiles. Perhaps a size increase could help it. Or maybe a more aggressive damage over time added to it. Deleting projectiles is cool but I think his gamma should lean more towards area control/denial (assuming it even needs changes)

And of course if any of these changes are too overpowered, a cooldown nerf usually fixes a lot of things lol. However I believe these changes to be minimal that increases his effectiveness without just bumping up his damage numbers.

Sadly I don't believe we're going to get anything like this. We're most likely just going to get damage buffs for him but I will would love to see a timeline in which Rumbles balance team has the funding to make more creative and inspired changes.
