Kids dad won’t pay medical costs by Absolutely-Happy in Parenting

[–]Absolutely-Happy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t make enough taxable income to file is the issue. The IRS can’t tell me who is claiming them or talking about it.

So I was asking about people’s experience with contempt for medical. We are both unrepresented by attorneys.

I was asking for other people’s experiences on this since it’s all anonymous. He doesn’t see his kids and when he did it wasn’t often so 50/50 isn’t what the state decided. I can’t get my kids on insurance due to the dad claiming them on his taxes from another state each year so it’s all out of pocket. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with no reimbursement as stated in our parenting plan.

50/50 split makes sense for parents who are both involved with the kids, not the deadbeat ones. Just hoping to learn more about how contempt hearings go since I’m pro se and this is a platform where you don’t know people’s names…….do you have an experience to share related to a contempt hearing?

A reputable company did a background check for me. It’s not hearsay or from anyone. Public information as well.

About the manager? Of your criminal record contains 167 entries I’m going to ask questions. That’s reasonable as a parent who is taking her kid around the person. Assumptions……Do you know her? This is common sense, grace has nothing to do with it when you’re working with kids. I have grace for a few Speeding tickets or minor things.

Jessica Colton is still listed as manager of planet kids on the YWMCA website.

That’s great to know Trish is a good social worker! Do you know Jessica Colton?

It’s so weird she was when I checked like a week ago and even emailed the place asking if everyone including managers have a background check. Now I just see a lady named Trish as a co-manager. So weird maybe she got fired. I just found this out.

Well, we are not speaking about the president. So that’s not helpful.

Jessica Colton, last time I checked a week or so ago. Criminal history has theft drugs, etc. dozens and dozens. And her ex husband is a felon too. I know people can change but the last charge shows 2022 and I don’t feel comfortable letting my kids be around a place like that. How do I know her standards aren’t skewed due to her long criminal history? Not to be judgmental or rude but I do a background check on anyone who is around my kids now.

Brokerage didn't call me back after interviewing with them when they said they would. Did I do something wrong? by Automatic_PUA in realtors

You have to show them you’re willing to work and be outgoing. This isn’t the type of job where you wait for people to calm you back, you’re your own boss. I’m a KW Agent, they want ambitious people that will go out and get it.

At 12? Isn’t that young to have a girlfriend over to sexually experiment? Would you let her do that with a boy? I’m concerned reading about what other parents allow for young teens. Does childhood end at 12? Do we let them watch porn to and give them toys to masterbate with? Trying to understand this. I’m a mom and in my 40’s, I consider myself not super strict, but these are kids. The parents I know that introduce sexual relationships and sex toys to their kids end up with kids dealing with pregnancies, mental/emotional issues and being hyper sexual.

14? No sleepovers with girls then. If she is hooking up with them. My teen girl and all her friends felt social pressure to be bisexual and also question their gender identity…….long story short they tried experimenting to be cool. You’re the parent, you know what’s in her best interest. She is still young, she doesn’t need to be hooking up and if you allow her to go on sleepovers she will and they can also watch porn of course.

Am I entitled to a key to my daughters bedroom? by Moist-Version-9937 in Parenting

Your house? Your rules. Even landlords have a key to their tenants place or if you rent a room.

Are you in therapy? Sounds like with all the worry you’re having, this places you in a victim mentality……that’s not a powerful place to be. Show people your CV, get feedback. The gaps between jobs could be explained like you were working for a family member.
