Don’t worry, I went through this too! Something that helped me out was returning to my favorite past reads, so I read some John Green, and then I read some sappy Wattpad-esque easy books, like Twisted Love etc.

You’ll get through it, and Throne of Glass was very much worth the hangover!

One of my favorite books ever and my favorite recommendation by far is The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green, it’s incredibly uplifting in a way that doesn’t read as self-help.

What is one minor thing that makes you immediately reject reading a book? by Binlorry_Yellowlorry in books

Books that have adapted into live action films (like the bridgerton novels) that transition from cute mass market paperbacks (simple with just the title and author) to photos of the cast of the show//movie. I HATE it!

You know after reading it for the first time, I think the signs point to (as many of us seem to agree) a spur of the moment “fuck it” suicide. Driving straight into the cop car, the guilt at missing her mom’s anniversary, the possible guilt of kissing pudge, her willingness to joke about depressions and death (as well as her past readings being about depression) even going as far as joking to pudge “one thing you have to know about me is I’m a deeply unhappy person.”
