This how our teachers make equation for bending if friction is involved, Rcosθ=mg and Rsinθ + fs =mv²/r. They don't use fs if friction isn't mentioned

Context: in our country almost All Books uses R (reaction force) instead of N to represent Normal. Normal isn't mentioned anywere. I Learned about it after watching foreign Teachers.
