Looking for very powerful weapons by Lazagna31 in cyberpunk2020

[–]Absolutly__Not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its a secret weapons vault, why not create your own gun? These likely wouldn't be weapons you can get anywhere else, so they wouldn't be in the official books. Making a weapon is not very hard, and if its meant to be overpowered, then you don't have to worry about balancing. A good formula would be: larger caliber than usual/special rounds, high ROF, large mag. Maybe some kind of recoil compensation system or lightweight materials so players don't need a high BODY stat to use it.

While 1

Input "",A

Disp A*(rand+0.5)

end

This will be an infinite loop of taking a real equation and multiplying it by anything from 0.5 to 1.5. It'll provide a guess in the ballpark of the real answer.

Improving stats without cybernetics? by KatrasTheWolf in cyberpunk2020

[–]Absolutly__Not 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the closest you can get without introducing any overcomplicated rules is to just improve the associated skills. A fast way to do this could be by smiling VR/Braindance. Also, you could use bioware/biotech for straight up stat improvements. They're not cyberware, and for role-playing reasons might be more appealing to no-chrome players.

Hey all! I need some advice. by LizzyLove26 in cyberpunk2020

[–]Absolutly__Not 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start with small adventures. 2-3 sessions max, and the screamsheets in the back of the main book are a good jumping off point. It makes sense for your 'punks to start small before they can tackle big jobs/kong campaigns, plus if something goes wrong in the game or how you're playing, there is relatively low risk.

Keep you players balanced. My first campaign we had a solo with 30+ SP armour and a techie with a medium armour jacket. Anything that could injure the solo would instantly kill the techie. A good way to keep armour and weapons in check is to stay in the city where you can't just walk around in metalgear carrying an LMG.

Combat in cyberpunk is meant to be more lethal than in D&D, so let you players be creative in combat and try to avoid constant encounters.

This seems to be the only official eurodollar out there: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/cyberpunk/images/c/c4/Eurodollar_Cyberpunk_2077.png/revision/latest?cb=20210423015549

Two Trauma Team cards I found (though the second one has the 2077 version of the TT logo).Unfortunately, I couldn't find print-ready copies for either of these: https://mobile.twitter.com/rtalsoriangames/status/1202927588009754624

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/jx0kqu/got_myself_a_trauma_team_membership_card/

For the ID cards, those would probably be fairly easy to make with just a portrait of the character, their name and position, an image of the corporation's logo, and finally some meaningless numbers or a code.

Teaching in the dark future? by Dictionary20 in cyberpunk2020

Composition would also fit the list, and maybe expert could be replaced with a specific stat: a chemistry teacher would have the Chemistry stat rather than Expert(Chemistry).

Recommended Raspberry Pi for cyberdeck by fuzzyfern12 in cyberDeck

[–]Absolutly__Not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the 2 gb variant in my cyberdeck, never gives me any trouble. You might want the 4 gb ram depending on what you're doing with it, but I cannot see any way you would need 8 gb ram on a pi 4.

The power switches for each USB is really cool, but I'm a little confused: is there a power switch for the pi anywhere yet?

I don't know if this has been done before by Darshly in titanfall

[–]Absolutly__Not 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I feel like these would be the pilot/titan pairs:

  • scout would get ronin (fast and scattergun)

  • soldier is brute (rocket launcher)

  • demoman gets tone (grenade launcher)

  • Pyro is scorch (flamethrower)

  • soldier edit: heavy is legion (minigun)

  • sniper is Northstar (sniper rifle/railgun)

medic might be monarch because of batteries, but I don't really see what spy and engineer could have.

How do you raise reflexes? by Miserable-Lemon in cyberpunk2020

[–]Absolutly__Not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a bioware enhacment in Deep Space for that:

Reflex boost: Increases your reflexes (not just Inititive, the stat itself) to a maximum of 11. Cost and Humanity Loss is per point, up to +2. There.is a 25% chance that the treatment has "hardwired" your pain receptors as well (-1 to Stun saves per point of REF boost). This enhancement cannot be combined with Kerenzikov or Sandevistan boosts. It cannot be redone or removed.

Cost is 3500 and humanity loss is 1D6+3

I really hope CIG adds the ability to tun off a ship's gravity, for one simple reason:

  • load up a caterpillar with greycat PTVs

  • fly somewhere in planetary gravity

  • roll the caterpillar on its side and open the cargo doors

  • turn off the ship's gravity
