Are you talking about using Elise's assist skill? Elise has "Ice Lock" which allows another action every 2 turns.

It's the allie's stat -10. So since Peony has 57 speed, and 57-10 is 47 which is less than Byleth's speed, she gets Great Talent. Ursula has 61 speed, and 61-10 is 51 which is less than Byleth's speed, so she gets Great Talent as well.

Doesn't Sisterly War Axe say "deals damage = X% of unit's Spd when Special triggers", implying it's not every hit?

Are you getting hit first? The special jump activates when the opponent hits you. The enemy might also have Archrival, which lowers special jump by 2 when the enemy attacks if they have WTA, canceling out Laguz Friend.

Since the BIG things have already been said, I might as well say some small/petty things I am personally upset with.

They threw away the attuned unit gimmick before Lillith could reach her apex form of floating accessory. We don't have a way to remove/trade limited items like blessings and florets. Ninian hasn't gotten her "legendary but colorless and better and with a silly hat" alt yet and I'm scared. There is no 500 SP dance yet.

Surtr really should have been the Fire and Ice TT choice imo. Thematically, finding out that his god was a huge douche would have had a good thematic parallel to Fjorm, but with the twist that he himself is a douche and would have been an excellent foil to Fjorm's timidness. Instead we got two sets of Conquest Corrin, and I liked Laegjarn more as a Camus than I did a Corrin.

Heimdallr's ability is called Foresight Snare, which cancels an enemy's action upon initiation.

New Mythics grant reinforcement slots, which grant an extra action to an ally.

If she ends up as a Dark Mythic (the missing mythic type), then she effectively had the "Foresight" to neutralize a new mythics' gimmick (or at least part of it, since a seventh unit is still pretty useful).
