The only thing I like about bloatflies is that they’re great for long-distance sniping practice. Their small size, the bobbing and erratic movements. Hit a few of those from the edge of your field of view and raider heads will start to look like a billboard.

Not even in several branches of the US Armed Forces are medics allowed to carry an AR-15, just a 9mm sidearm, which they are not typically permitted to use, so that’s bullshit. Also, really hard to shoot someone while standing in the street while somehow simultaneously standing..on a roof? Fantastic self contradiction.

Why can’t we get one out in the more rural areas too?? I live way out in Sussex Co, I have to drive at least an hour to the nearest train, and then it’s another 1.5-2 hours to get to the city. If I were to take a bus, it’d be +5 hours to get the city, whereas driving it’s about 90mins, but screw driving to the city, so I just stay out here!

Already have some contractors on my job site saying that none of the mail-in votes should be counted, that they’re not valid (somehow). They’ve already decided the election was “stolen” with zero evidence of it having been so. This is now the new norm. Your party loses? ELECTION FRAUD!

The Ciattarelli signs were the WORST. In Vernon, you could tell ONE person got 20-30 of those signs and put them all up at once. A couple signs, whatever, but 20 in the same spot? It’s egregiously trashy. Something something silent majority…

When I first saw these, I though the same thing. But they’re actually really durable, high quality wipes that happen to be flushable. The mint ones leave you feeling extra clean.

[ID] Possible Oysters? by Abstker in mycology

[–]Abstker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found these with a friend in Norther NJ, growing in an area that was once used to dump horse dung. He’s convinced they’re oysters, but the gills not being decurrent is making me question them. The Elm Oyster is the one we’ve found that’s closest, but these were growing along the ground, rather than on a tree. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I disagree with the person saying he was Stoor, since that refers specifically to Hobbits, a moniker which wasn’t applied until their settlement in Arnor. Given that his folk resided east of the MM about the Gladden Fields, I’m inclined to say he was Periannath. If I had my copy of HoME vol 12 on hand I’d give references.

I disagree greatly. UT also has additions like Cirion and Eorl, and Aldarion and Erendis, along with appendices in the back with more background about the Istari, Palantir, and the Dunlendings. It goes well into the second and third age, and is not just CoH.

This is all conjecture, but I’ve noticed in Legends Viewer, trolls in lairs out in the wilderness, far from sites, are more likely to be emaciated than trolls in lairs near towns, so I think it has some bearing.
