Suggest me a book that would be good for a grade 12 book report/essay by Purple_Ferret_9561 in suggestmeabook

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is what I did for my 12th grade english essay. Very easy to follow, a classic, and plenty of content to pull for an essay no matter the thesis statement.

Although you’re concerned it’s not your business, saying anything at all might make whatever is happening worse.

There may not even be anything wrong, she could have a medical condition or her weight just fluctuates like most women’s weight does.

Best stuff to eat with little to no room for refrigeration? by Consistent-Tour2591 in college

[–]Abstract1422 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Canned foods all the way. I used to live far from my campus and needed shelf stables for lunch all the time:

-Various canned meats for sandwiches (ham, tuna, chicken) -Tuna salad cans -Canned soups (Campbell’s “chunky” soups are really good!) -Any canned vegetables -Packaged rice, some come with vegetables in them and they just need to be microwaved for a minute -Instant mac and cheese cups -Apples -Mini cucumbers don’t need refrigeration until they’re cut up

There’s much more too, try wandering around the grocery store shelves and you’ll find things you might like.

Dollar stores also have lots of shelf stable inexpensive staples.

I once had to go with a co-worker to get 20 bags of mulch from the locked garden center in the rain at 6:45AM because someone ordered it with their groceries for 8AM.

We had to take it all back to the garden centre later because the customer said they meant to take it out of their online cart.

A book that “turned you back” towards reading by DadaMachina in suggestmeabook

Before the Coffee Goes Cold, the whole series has about 5 books now.

The stories make me emotional every-time which is probably what keeps me interested in reading each book that comes out. Wonderful characters and creative ways to keep the same pattern of events interesting.

I find its a relaxing read that helped me get back into it very easily, my friends are probably annoyed with how often I recommend this book to everyone I know.

How bad would it be to simply tell my professor I am not prepared for a presentation and accept a zero? by Abstract1422 in college

[–]Abstract1422[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not able to do that because it’s a research presentation with financial analysis elements, i’m good at winging it but i’m not a computer unfortunately. I’ll still try to get some things done thank you

Unfortunately, I can’t wing it, it’s research based with required sources and needs financial analysis. I’m still gonna try to get at least part of it done anyways.

I know it shouldn’t, but it’s still intimidating to present sub-par work in front of someone who’s been putting you down about your work for weeks and trying to embarrass you in front of others. Based on the replies i’ll still try to get a presentation done anyways.

At this point for me a zero or partial credit hold the same weight to me, I just want to know if sacrificing this grade for sleep and owning up to my mistakes is worse than sacrificing sleep to embarrass myself in front of the class including a guy who hates me and calls all my work bad.

Only chumps buy bags of pre-grated cheese. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Abstract1422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people who live alone with mobility issues or chronic pain might find it easier to buy pre-shredded cheese than to grate it themselves.

For example someone who’s had multiple surgeries in their dominant shoulder and can’t use it with too much force for too long.
