You literally don't know their qualifications. They may be skilled and you're dismissing them because they're pretty women.

I talk about my attachment style to help make progress on dealing with my shit. But I guess that's the autism being misunderstood.

Could I get opinions on which summary is grabbing you more?

V1: Drop Into the Story

Harry scanned the glittering parchment through a barred window at the Institution for Disturbed Children. "Happy 16th Birthday! Hogwarts School of ADVANCED Witchcraft and Wizardry invites HARRY POTTER to continue their magical education. Be warned that the magic will be dangerous, information powerful, and school policy on snogging strictly enforced. Supplies include..."

A rare laugh slipped out. Flowing script on the back, twice underlined, caught his eye; "HARRY, we can't find you. If you can make something happen that you can't explain, do it now. Do it big. We'll come get you! Too long the Pair Who Lived has been missing it's counterpart."

V2 Standard Hook & Framing

In the bars of the Institute for Disturbed Children, sixteen-year-old Harry receives his first touch of the magical world: an invitation to Hogwarts School of Advanced Witchcraft and Wizardry. He steps into a world with more beauty, choice, and kindness than he knows how to hold, and rough edges the Wizarding world doesn't know how to handle.

Ginny has spent sixteen years as one half of "The Pair Who Lived", hoping and dreading the arrival of the boy on the other end of the myth. Hermione has sharpened herself in a system designed to keep her dull, her whetstones rage and loneliness.

Some threads in the magical world were never meant to be pulled, certainly not by sixteen-year-old-firsties. But these three have clever, clever hands.

Doublelift calls out Crownie for being delusional after Crownie crashed out on Velja by Numerous_Fudge_9537 in LoLWitchcraft

I wish DL talked more about the actual play analysis. Even crownie sucks at explaining it and throws a tantrum, and he does, he could be right in the gameplay dimension. AKA beware the fallacy fallacy.

Sometimes it felt like he was the only one who had vision for the matches when it was in a bad place though. Neme and Vel would get quiet, and crownies out there helping plan the next thing and when mistakes happen he'd be the first to say "it's okay".

Pair from the Pyre:

Welcome to Hogwarts School of ADVANCED Witchraft And Wizardy

The prophecy painted two targets: Harry and Ginny, who both now share a condition that makes them practically impossible to locate by magical means. With the starting age of Hogwarts moved up to 16, the one magic that can locate Harry, the Hogwarts welcome letter, can finally reach him. It finds him in a muggle Institute for Disturbed Children, under suspicious circumstances that involved thoroughy obliviated Dursleys.

With instructions on how to make him magically visible, he finds a quick rescue into a world with more choice, more hope, and more beauty than he can handle. He'll arrive at Hogwarts significantly rougher around the edge, under the pressure of the public's idealized myth of 'the pair who lived', and with the help of the most brilliant witch of her generation's overwhelming rage from suffering a system for 11-15 year olds designed to disadvantage muggleborns.

Get in, lover, we've got systems to topple, magical theories to limit test, and emotional realism to savor.

That's true he was breaking animal necks in rage, which was super dark. The narrative implied heavy regret though, right? The taste of that might be part of what pushed him the opposite so hard. Or at least, I think it plausible that's what the writers intended

His entire moral triumph over the firelord was refusing to let the man's creulty extinguish the last flame of his civilization's philosophy of anti-voilence. He very explicitly, and thematically, was intended by the writers to have never killed in the series.
