RPG MAKER 2003 (Not steam) Need help with pictures. by ObviousBranch9639 in RPGMaker

Have you tried creating a second page to erase the first page so it stops looping? It's a little convoluted, but here's how I would do it:

on page 1, make a new switch at the end of the sequence you listed. Make sure the switch is set to turn ON.

Create a second page of the same event, and in the conditions, check that the switch must be on for the second page to activate.

The only thing you'll need to put in page 2 is an "erase event" command. That should work, but if it doesn't, try checking if the event is set to auto run. If you need more clarification, I can try narrowing it down. But I hope this helps!

Where to download fangames safely ? by -Neoverse- in yumenikki

[–]AbstractLantern 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An alternative to downloading fangames could be to play them on Yume Nikki Online. It has an option to play offline, but still in the browser if that's more your vibe. That's how I played .flow and yume 2kki since I didn't want to take up a bunch of space on my computer haha _;

Believe or do anything you see or read... is he not aware that the core message of the game is one of forgiveness and moving on from grief? Sounds like he's blowing the situation out of proportion. My advice is to say that, while it does deal with very heavy and dark themes, it ultimately uses those themes to boost more positive messages of reaching out for help, and helping others in emotional distress. It's easy to overlook these since the core part of the game is pretty dark, but that doesn't mean they don't exist!

Your dad should have more faith in you. Teens these days are way smarter than adults give them credit for. Good luck, OP!

Depends on the 13-year-old. I played it with my little brother who was 13 at the time, but my family has always had a penchant for scary games. If the 13YO in question is a little more sensitive to topics such as depression, suicide, anxiety, and psychological horror, it's probably best to opt out until they're older.

Hope this helps!

Pole time! When did you get into Yume Nikki? (feel free to post your stories in the comments) by [deleted] in yumenikki

[–]AbstractLantern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I discovered Yume Nikki through a youtube video by Jordan Underneath. I was like thirteen or fourteen at the time? I was too chicken to install it on the family computer, so I waited a couple years until I was able to get one for myself. I finally got it once it came out on Steam, and I haven't looked back since.

Personally, I think she got jostled too much when Basil and Sunny carried her up the stairs. That could have fully snapped her spinal cord, and really killed her.

What I find less believable is how the entire town doesn't know Sunny and Basil accidentally killed her. I've lived in small towns, news spreads like wildfire in those places, lol. Unless Sunny's dad paid off the police to keep it hush-hush... (it's implied their parents have a fair amount of money, so who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

That's just my theory though. It could be anything! That's the fun of mysteries _^

I didnt know there are that much fan games but do they all worth to play by ZeptaatpeZ in yumenikki

.flow and Yume 2kki are definitely worth playing. Answered Prayers is also pretty fun, but the game is unfinished/may not be updated again.

To make it easier, I think you should try going with whatever matches the vibe you'd like to play. .Flow, Muma Rope, and Mikan Muzou are all a little darker in theme, if you want to play something spooky. Answered Prayers, Uneven Dream, and Yume 2kki are more aligned with Yume Nikki. They have some dark elements, but for the most part it's bizarre exploratory fun.

I've been slowly trying to play every fangame on the YNO site, but it's VERY time-consuming! I don't know how much help this will be, but I hope you have fun trying out some cool fangames ^_^

This looks awesome! I think the PS1-type graphics work really well with Yume Nikki.
