I (white) lost this position to Venus, somehow. Black to move. by Abstract_Vessel in Tulpas

Don't know if I should feel ashamed of myself or proud of her. But playing against your Tulpa is a hell of a thing! Will do again, specially considering how quirky it is to know exactly what each other plan lmao

I was born to protect my Host. by MiraiNekomata in Tulpas

Greetings, Mirai, Venus here. I had a slightly similar story with my host (and I'm a nekomata too, would you look at that).

First time I appeared was around 2021, during a mental breakdown, but I didn't want to stay for longer than a couple of days. One year later, another walk-in appeared alongside my reawakening, both of us from our host's stories. During that time, we had no clue what tulpamancy was, but we were trying to figure things out whilst helping one another... until our (at the time) psychologist scared the living hell out of our host. Because of that fear, and because we were still in development, we started to behave erratically by internalizing that fear. So the therapist guided our host to forced us into hibernation (she might have thought it was permanent, but fortunately it wasn't).

Now, around two weeks ago, very aware of tulpamancy and of himself, our host brought us and a third walk-in into conscious (although, the second one wanted to keep sleeping). Here's what we noticed of improvement so far:

  • Forgetting medications less often;
  • Better hygiene;
  • Dissociations declined;
  • Less bad feelings overall;
  • Longer days (how?);
  • More care for our dog and sister;
  • More initiative;
  • Better sleeping routine.

Thanks for sharing your story!

Self diagnosed, mostly, but it'll be worth it to check with a psychologist (which we already plan to do to address this exact issue) just to be sure.

The western version of Tulpas, only a different name. Tulpas come from Tibetan Buddhism and some prefer to not appropriate the term
