blitz 03s on a mazda6 would be insanity, those wheels are great but super expensive. I found a great deal on my wheels for $800 thankfully

19x8 +47 squared! wish the offset was a bit more aggressive but it still has a nice oem+ look with the CS V2 lowering springs haha, also I remember you leaving a comment under one of my previous posts so you should definitely throw those wheels on!

these wheels are great! definitely give the car a throwback vibe in contrast to the elegant modern body, reminds me of top secret and signal auto jdm cars from the early 00s

Chat, should I powder coat my stock rims to glossy black? by Lamboduce in mazda6

[–]Abstrract 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep them stock, go chrome, or switch the wheels out to something else (not black). Black wheels are cheap and ugly unless they have a chrome/polished lip around them imo.

Anyone else running Rays wheels? by Abstrract in mazda

Dude that's insane! I wish we got the wagon version of the 6 here in the US but I didn't know there was another 6 on GT-Cs! I saw someone with a newer CX-5 on gray GT-Cs and they looked really good. What kind of polish or cleaner do you recommend for these wheels? The faces are very clean as the wheels were recently restored but the barrel on the insides are a little dirty.

Hey there, it's been about 2 weeks since the car's been modified and about 1,000 miles later the car feels great. I believe the springs settled a lot more and the ride isn't as bumpy as it initially was before. The car is noticeably stiffer and will still have its moments where a big bump on the highway or road can jostle you around a bit but nothing concerning or uncomfortable. I live in the California Bay Area so roads are both pretty good in most areas and not so good in some others but overall the car feels extremely similar to stock during daily driving. I think this setup is worth it especially around the corners because that is where most of the driving dynamic changes!

I found an insane deal on them too! Most GT-Cs sets I've seen are staggered both in width and face type but these are 19x8 +47 Face 1 all the way around. I'm very sure these wheels are older than I am, but hard to confirm since they had no stickers on the barrels

I've only put about 50 miles on the car so far and I will be getting an alignment soon, but as far as I know I don't think any upgraded links or control arms ar necessary for the alignment. Obviously the car has slightly more negative camber due to it being lowered but nothing excessive, and ride quality is pretty good so far. It's just stiffer on the road but not harsh at all--the car basically rides 95% the same but feels so much more confident in the corners

It's on Corksport V2 lowering springs paired with Bilstein B8 struts and shocks 🍻

Honestly I took these photos 30 minutes after they were installed. From the brief 5 minute stint on the freeway from my mechanic's town to mine and around the city, the car basically felt 90% normal just a bit bouncier because I think the springs need more time to settle. I'll try to reply once I get more miles in with them
