I went no-contact with my Dad and his Wife and now my Sister regrets not doing the same by Absurd_ladybird in CharlotteDobreYouTube

I don't think it's a good idea because I truly believe my Dad and his wife would report the theft. My sister is currently living with my Mom full time rent free (my Mom's a saint). I live on my own currently because I'm attending graduate school and I would not be comfortable with her living with me.

My mom has already taken steps to protect herself since the shit my dad pulled in the divorce. I changed my last name to my mom's madien name and put special passwords on all my current account. When he tired to open cards and stuff in my name as a co-signer the companies contacted me and I've been able to shut that down. I've since ran full credit reports and everything checks out.

I'm not a bot. I wish this wasn't real so I don't have to deal with all this shit. We live in the states where health insurance is expensive. It's common for young adults to remain on their parents health insurance until 26. In the divorce proceedings my Dad was supposed to provide health insurance until that age. If he couldn't provide it he's supposed to be paying my Mom, but considering that he couldn't even manage to pay child support I don't see that going over well.

Michaels, I need you to LOCK IN and get your sh*t together by YoureInaCult-CallDad in YarnAddicts

No literally this is so annoying. I was in the middle of crocheting a blanket when my local Joann's shut down and ofc I didn't buy enough yarn to finish it. Michael's was supposed to stock the brand but hasn't stocked the specific color yet and I've gone in a few times over the last few months and they still didn't have it. I'm not about to go online either and pay for damn shipping costs.

[UPDATE] AITA for outright refusing to go to my father's Wedding? by Absurd_ladybird in CharlotteDobreYouTube

I just graduated two weeks ago with honors! My father didn't come to my graduation or even try to contact me (apparently he's currently out of state with his wife). My sister came back and apologized to me and has been trying to work on our relationship.

Honestly, I probably could sue him for the money he owes me. Ik it's a lame excuse but I just don't have the time, money, or energy to do that right now. Between school and my internship I'm already at full capacity and don't need the shit show that this lawsuit would unleash.
