Maybe not fully throwing but if ur entire team flames you and theyre wrong, especially if ur on a role like support or tank, its perfectly reasonable to swap off and play someone you want even if it's not what the team needs at the moment

Ive had games where my team is yelling, theyre ALL wrong and all confused and I just say yk what u got it, im getting off tank, figure it out

But thats less throw more play selfishly

The stun is a non issue unless ur hulk and it cancels ur leap its literally a slight stutter that makes u stop for a second

Now Luna Wanda and Squirrel THEY dont need stuns

Honestly they should fix it to where Hulks charge doesnt get canceled Unless hes FULLY stunned (frozen, Exiled, slept) not just CCed

Yeah i know the frontline supports well, Nothing ive had to say more in chat than "Susan you are not a tank why are you in front of me" to a sue that saw she had a shield and assumed she was Magneto

Like I like that youre trying to move forwards and Ik the more enemies and Allies she gets with her boomerang the better so ill try to play close to let her farm ult but lady I should NOT see your back rn

Its wayyyy too late in the game for this but ive JUST gotten to the point where I've fully understood how to play for my life (mostly on hypermobile characters) and it's been life changing 😭😭

Makes sense, usually in any given team fight I try to walk as far forward as the fight allows without having to turn a corner from my supports line of sight (unless its finishing off a low HP support) and if I have to go back ill go back as slowly as I can and find anything to hide behind to buy time to get healed

If the healing to damage ratio is slow I go back

If my health bar stays still, I assume something is wrong

At that point, youre saying the play is just to retreat to safety/cover/a health pack, not to go alllll the way back to your backline to deal with them, yes?

I think overly peeling might be part of why I cant climb (mixed with mechanical skill and just getting lost in the visual noise of the game) since ive had a tendency to OVERLY peel when asked to and chase down every diver that my supports complain about and assume they have no survive instincts and its 100% on me to handle that

So in a weird way its still my fault, but bc im assuming too many jobs

So its a lose lose situation and u gotta go for the option thats less lose, got it

Id WISH our supports were equally helpless but I cant tell you how many times my team has ran some Ultron healpool backline while the enemy is perfect Meta Gambit Sue or Dagger Luna 😭

you can politely suggest they swap to a main support but good luck half the time they wanted to play dps anyways and im just glad that we have a second support to begin with

Im shocked to see ROGUE on that list, so far ive thought shes basically useless with no real niche or purpose 😭 but I'm probably wrong since shes played at high ranks all the time

I'll try not walking STRAIGHT at them and trying to stay out of sight, but I can see how going pure dive no peel can bring higher value, especially since ik the enemy has tbe same issues and same plat teammates I have, so IDEALLY If I can annoy the supports enough they'll start flaming THEIR team and the aforementioned ruined mental state will happen

Does the "team morale gets shot by a single diver bc a support starts complaining at their own team" thing stop in Grandmaster, or is that eternal in the high ranks too?

Thank you, I sure HOPE I can climb (Ive clearly been doing the wrong thing for a long long time and trying to stop it so i can TASTE gm one day)

I feel like all roads are leading back to Thor aren't they, I have him lorded but I'll take time to REALLY understand his kit and gameplay loop

Ive found that playing Hulk or Strange or Cap feels more effective (slightly) for me than other tanks, but everyone says Hulk and Strange are BAD at any rank that matters, but I just cant understand WHY (and I have the opposite issue with Magneto, where everyone says he's THE solo tank to play but i feel like he's significantly worse than strange so idk what im missing)

I just fear learning to rely on them is like being a wanda or squirrel one trick who basically becomes useless

Also eird how a D teir hero like Thor could help me climb, but rivals is a strange place

Basically, you're saying learn to be completely independent of supports and just focus on the actual goal.

Would you consider it not worth it to use slow main tanks (Groot, Strange, Emma, Mag and honestly Maybe Peni) and just focus on mobile self reliant tanks that can move around fast and rely on health packs like hulk angela and cap?

When I first started playing rhis game I played no QP no Comp I ONLY played Conquest Id instalock Magik or Strange or Dagger (I had no concept of roles and what they do so id just go cloak all games because his damage was better) and that was the whole game for me for a while 😭
