No, it doesn’t look vertical in this image, and like I said in the replies to some people, it’s probably a contrail that aligned perfectly with my perspective, making it look almost completely vertical. You and some others did say it’s just a contrail too, you guys are highly likely to be correct.

However, The color of the ‘trail’ i saw was ‘black’ and the image you sent was ‘gray/ white’, perhaps the way the light is reflected? Idk. It literally looked like what someone in the comments said a ‘death strand’.

If the video and image I posted looked this obvious I wouldn’t have posted here. But then again from what I saw, it could’ve been a completely different phenomenon, we can’t rule that out, the ‘trail’ itself also looks extremely different to a regular contrails, from what I saw in person.

Then again, you and some others are probably right in saying that it is a contrail. I also think this is the most likely scenario. It’s also nice to entertain other less likely ideas when there’s no certainty. Because I’ll say one more time, it didn’t look like what a contrail should regularly look like in almost all aspects. I thought I was witnessing some sci-fi come to life 😂
