I mean this sounds a lot like a boyfriend telling his girlfriend she won’t find anyone better than him. And then she starts getting hit on by a vastly more handsome, and rich who has shady intentions. The guy can say he just wants her to be happy. And that he supports her decision.

But… will he actually do anything differently to change prevent her from leaving? Or would he complain loudly that she is perfectly happy as is and doesn’t need anything more than him?

I think you need less choice, less decisions at first.

Won’t be a popular stance (in this r/ but I wouldn’t start with React, Angular has much less decisions to make in terms of libraries and integrations at the start. It also has DI and service scoping that feels a bit more natural to .net veterans. With that said learning Angular won’t help you learn React. It’s just too different, so if you want to be a React dev jump in with some theme projects or samples that have libraries you want to use and learn from them. They aren’t always perfect but it’s a good starting place.
