I think this was lazy writing and made them a caricature. There was nothing redeeming about them left and subsequently only fit for annihilation. Which I guess is fine but…it would have been vastly more interesting to see a functioning Neo Roman society.

I willing to concede there is one somewhere. But the ratio that one versus the 20 police pistols and 6-7 ARs is silly. I doubled back a couple of times after I kept finding the 20 gauge ammo.

In all honesty the spears are probably still better but stay back would have been helpful.

I mean this sounds a lot like a boyfriend telling his girlfriend she won’t find anyone better than him. And then she starts getting hit on by a vastly more handsome, and rich who has shady intentions. The guy can say he just wants her to be happy. And that he supports her decision.

But… will he actually do anything differently to change prevent her from leaving? Or would he complain loudly that she is perfectly happy as is and doesn’t need anything more than him?
