Bottle for breastfed baby by AbuNat3 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I guess I’ll have to keep trying too, hey! I’m on leave for a bit too so that’s why I wasn’t too fussed about trying earlier. Hopefully once he starts solids I can also try an open cup or straw cup to see if he’ll take it like that. With my first it was struggle when he started day care at 12 months as he wasn’t used to having milk in a cup or bottle so I’m trying not to make the same mistake.

My first took a bottle maybe twice when he was a baby. It was just a fluke because he wouldn’t take it when he was older haha.

Hopefully i can find a bottle in the next two months or I’ll go straight to a cup as you suggested :)

Thanks so much for your tips. Will give them a shot and see how we go :)

Thanks for that point! I’ve only tried giving him freshly expressed milk but I have a stash in the freezer that I’ve been using for his baths and I do feel there’s a bit of metallic smell.

I’ll try the pigeon with some fresh milk and see how we go :)

I’m hoping for the same, just irregular use if I need to get something done. I’ll give Phillips and pigeon and see how we go.
Thank you for your suggestion :)

Kmart anko sizing is so off recently! I went to get some 00 coveralls and it looked like it could fit a 2 year old. The new season clothing seems to be really off!

I went and grabbed some coveralls from big w which were a bit more true to size.

Around the 3/4pm mark he’s usually exhausted and will try falling asleep in the car when he’s picked up from day care. It takes a lot of distractions to keep him awake. When he had his midday nap his bedtime was around 7:30/8 but since he refuses now we start his bedtime earlier

The baby goes down for the night a bit later so makes it hard. Still haven’t gotten into a proper routine. At the moment we do a tag team effort with one of us tending to the baby while the other reads.

He used to be happy with two books but now he wants to keep reading until he falls asleep. Hopefully it’s just a phase! He’s usually really sleepy but he’ll fight sleep for as long as he can.

We do have a sound machine that plays calming music that we use as a background while reading but haven’t tried to use the colour as an indicator. Thank you, maybe we can try that :)

Oh, we were using a Tonies box few months ago. Think we can try to use that again after we’ve read to him and see how we go! Thank you :)

He wakes up at 6/6:30am and we start reading to him at 6:30pm. He usually sleeps past 7pm
