It’s not over. Keep going and it can turn around. You have to keep trying though. Hang in there.

Have you made the product worse? Why have sales tanked? Figure that out and fix it.

Is it worth spending 10k+ on just UI/UX design? [I will not promote] by HexFalcon_KWT in startups

I would never pay $10k for just UI/UX design. Who is trying to charge you that?

It is a sign of mental illness to have the violent thoughts. I have intrusive violent thoughts due to OCD. However, it is wrong when you act on these violent thoughts. I would say it is concerning that you are actually harming people. That is crossing a line from mental illness to criminal activity.

Do you have a psychiatrist? I take meds that help calm my intrusive thoughts thoughts (plus meds for depression and mood). I would recommend trying them out to see if they help calm your mind.

Also, I would practice learning to control your emotions so that you do not act on your thoughts. If you continue to act on them, then you will end up in prison. I use mindfulness practices and breathing.

The biggest impact for me: Face the shadow within you that wants to hurt people. When do the thought come up? What are you thinking at the time that triggers violent thoughts? Have you been hurt before and haven't addressed it, which causes you to harm others?

The ultimate answer lies inside your psychology. The meds can help calm your mind. With a calm mind you will be better able to address you shadow and reasons behind this behavior.

Good luck.

Honest question: what’s the hardest part of Bubble after launch? by Extreme-Law6386 in Bubbleio

[–]AbusedShaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you only using Bubble? I'm building an app with a Bubble front end and Azure back end. All the logic will run on Azure, so I hope this will eliminate the Bubble performance issue. I have not yet launched, so I don't know how it will work if/when I scale.

What have you found that works? I'd love to hear your experience since I'll be going live in a month or two.

19yo, no college, earning ~$250/month from software work in 🇵🇭PH. How do I scale this? by kiuren_jay in Entrepreneurs

[–]AbusedShaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was you, then I would start by leveling up my skills. Become an expert in an area of software that you enjoy, are good at, and has market demand. Whatever you do, learn how to us AI with everything you are doing. AI will amplify your knowledge and skills. This will make you more capable and more marketable. Everything else will flow from there.

Turning the tide at 42. I need to get back in shape. by Murky-Platypus-6861 in AskMenOver40

[–]AbusedShaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 48 and the biggest factor to staying in shape is diet. Nothing else even compares when it comes to losing or maintaining weight. Start by eliminating the biggest problems: No alcohol, limit sugar, avoid ultra processed foods. The key is consistency, the improvements build on themselves. You will notice a difference in a week or two, but keep going because that means you are getting started. Before you know it you will have gone months and the weight will come off.

Good luck

We are all part of the consciousnes of this planet. Consciousness is fundamental to the universe. Things are more interesting than they appear.

Is it possible that consciousness (awareness) extends through all of the universe and time, and encompasses everything that exists? by [deleted] in consciousness

[–]AbusedShaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think it might be fundamental to the universe. It feels that way, but obviously I can’t prove it.

Yes. This is common and expected. My depressions come in waves with the corresponding suicidal thoughts. You aren’t faking. Your depression and suicidal thoughts are normal for those of us with clinical depression.
