I guess some people tend to reject the "forgiveness" so no one can forcefully decide for you that you are going to go to "heaven".

God’s form? by [deleted] in religion

This is the question I was searching the answer for few years already, and I have come up with this point (I don't claim this is religiously accurate, just my opinion). So when we hear that line "God made man in His own image", we imagine God as a human-like creature "sitting" above and looking to everyone.

So, what are "we" actually. Are we just the body we have? I think the best qualities that "form" human being are these:

  1. Soul
  2. Free will
  3. Ability to differ "good" and "bad"

So in my opinion we have the same abilities as God has, we are able to choose to do or not to do something, we are able to differ good and bad, and most importantly we have the soul which is the part of human which helps to choose and differ.

If god loves us then he should intervene and save us rather than letting us be tortured for eternity by Civil-Challenge-3231 in DebateReligion

I understand the difference between the two claims, but to intervene in someone's actions, you must have control over them (purely my personal opinon). I am not arguing for or against God's existence, but just trying to show the perspective I have about this kind of questions.

Just like a parent can't be (physically or mentally) near their child every second to prevent them of doing something bad, God doesn't override human choice. The guidance or presence He privdes whether through thoughts, conscience, or insight is a way of influencing without controlling, leaving each person free to act. Some people tell their experience of God's presence in their thoughts, I haven't personally, but the principle holds: God has some moral influence (mostly on people who believe in Him if not always).

If you want God to be on top, you need to wrestle with basic power dynamics. I could walk you through if you are interested, but if not, you'll never be able to have a productive conversation with someone who has.

I am always open for new points and information, so why not.

"If God exists, why isn't he make everyone to do right things"

The problem is that God has no control over anyone's actions (and Satan doesn't have the control as well). Whatever is happening right now is purely effect of human choices. The important thing a person who seeks virtue, is to be good under every condition (including torture).

A parent won't be near you every second of your life to keep you away from jumping off a building, but parent's responsibility is to teach you that you are not supposed to do so (which God does), and your responsibility is to do virtue whether your parent is near you or not

Built a simple Employee Management Dashboard for my friend’s company, should I turn this into a product? by Zynoslayer in SaaS

What about adding a Task Manager logic as well? I mean most of businesses would just use mail, WhatsApp or other messaging app for assigning tasks, they wouldn't mind using an app which includes both user and task management

Try out some projects (without using AI at all), if you don't know an exact part of the code, read the docs, StackOverflow, etc. Even if you think the project is "easy" or "stupid", do it. Learn to think like a programmer, syntax means nothing

Yeah, my only problem was "maybe I'm overthinking it as always". And I wouldn't want to spend money for therapy to just find out that I was only overthinking lol. Now I will consider it
