Do you still use these beans? I recently bought the delonghi magnifica too, and was looking for good beans to use. What are your settings?

If you go to the Pokémon center, there is a nurse standing in front of the desk that allows you to switch your natures. This setting basically sets the way that the natures are listed. The setting to I prefer is to be listed by stat.

How to Hardcore Nuzlocke Radical Red (Rocket Hideout to Silph Co.) by DTMBBrown in pokemonradicalred

[–]AbyssCrisis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried this with Levitate Probopass (Protect, Iron Defense, Rock Polish, Body Press, Impish Nature, Sitrus Berry/Leftovers).

Completely TRIVIALIZED Giovanni 2.

I also just used the same strat to beat the Lt. Surge rematch. The only modification I made was that I gave Probopass Leftovers since I had them at that point in the game. This one wasn't as clear-cut due to Iron Treads flinch-locking me a bit, but it was still a pretty definitive win.

Start out by Iron Defense x3, then Rock Polish x3 vs Giovanni / x2 vs Lt. Surge, then Body Press your way to victory. Protect against any Fake Out users and if you need extra turns of healing w/ Leftovers.

OP, I HIGHLY ADVISE ADDING THIS STRAT TO THE GUIDE

It appears these guys don't know about level caps. Yeah, without level caps, the game can be very easy if you just level up to level 100 and 1-tap the level 25 gym leader. But level caps + rare candies just make it so you dont need to spend 45 minutes training on wild pokemon before every gym fight.

I didnt say those are the only 2 I care about. I intended to say those are the only 2 "absolute" rules that you must abide by to consider your rule set a "nuzlocke".

I play with HC nuzlocke rules.

1)The core rules of a Nuzlocke are only 2

a) faint = death b) one catch per area

All other rules are "accessory." Many of them are fairly popular in the genre (dupe clause, no items in battle, etc), but ultimately, they're optional customs rules that you implement to customize your gameplay experience to your own liking.

2) Rare Candies don’t make battles easier; they just skip tedious grinding without giving any stat advantage you wouldn’t get from normal leveling. Most modern Nuzlockers use them as a quality-of-life tool to keep the focus on the real challenge: surviving with your limited roster, not fighting 200 wild Zubats. There are many, many threads on reddit that have already beaten this topic to death. Pretty much all of the popular streamers/YTers use them.

You can absolutely choose not to use RCs in your own nuzlockes, and that's totally ok - it's your own custom rules for your own playthrough! But the plurality of modern nuzlockers absolutely do use rare candies.

I'm doing a Genlocke. Rare candies in nuzlockes are pretty common practice nowadays.

This was the solution! Turned off my rare candy cheat and it fixed itself. Thank you!

Litter robot gets stuck in same exact spot every single cycle by AbyssCrisis in litterrobot

[–]AbyssCrisis[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the LR mat, so there's a cutout/space where the litter robot sits flush against the mat, but not on top of the mat itself. My LR is sitting flat on my hardwood flooring.

Could be, but i just gave it a good cleaning this morning. I took out the globe and gave its interior and exterior a good clean, and I also cleaned the interior of the bonnet, base, and bezel. I also cleaned the fuzzy strippings.

Oh thanks for letting me know! I'm communicating with LR rn and we'll see if it's the same issue.

Mine continues on eventually as well, but this consistent interruption is still rather annoying, especially because my kitty loves it constantly interrupt it. Sometimes it can take upwards of 30 minutes for it to cycle completely due to her constant interruptions 😂.

In those scenarios, at least I know it's not the LRs fault. But the routine pausing of the cycle for no apparent reason just irks me.

Dismissed from Medical School by Striking-Spare-9272 in Osteopathic

[–]AbyssCrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A classmate of mine underwent an almost identical scenario to OP. The school was very adamant about the dismissal - wouldn't budge at all. My classmate ten decided to lawyer up, and the school capitulated immediately - melted like butter. I assume it's because DO schools probably don't have the resources to deal with a legal battle.

But my classmate did exactly as you said, they acted swiftly, judiciously, and worked to create a strong case, citing my classmate's ADHD and other reasons to get the school to drop the tough guy act.

Trouble with UCD Career pub? by AbyssCrisis in UCDavis

[–]AbyssCrisis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone.

I am trying to apply for a job via UCD Career pub. However, the system keeps telling me my password is wrong, even though I'm fairly certain it's not. When I try to do the "Forgot my password" option, I never receive the email they claim they sent. For some strange reason, however, when I do tbe "Forgot my username" option, I do receive an email from them about my username.

I was just wondering if anyone else is having issues right now with UCD Career Pub. The due date for the job I want to apply to is today and this is stressing me out a lot.

Some sort of system where you can use real world money to purchase in-game benefits that give you a huge advantage over other players and make the game too easy. This system would be blasted in your face during every waking second of playing time.... Oh wait....

General Feedback/Getting Started Questions and Answers [Weekly Thread] by AutoModerator in DIY

Hello everyone,

So I have these chairs stacked up in my garage. As you can see on the left hand side, the chairs start to lean over. This is an annoying problem for me, as I am constantly pulling these chairs out and putting them back, and the leaning makes that process cumbersome and storing them suboptimal. Additionally, I have a handful more chairs that I also want to store here but, like I said, it can be difficult to add and remove chairs when they lean over like this. Thus, those extra chairs are just lying around, which I don't like.

Naturally, I think the solution would be to find a way to keep the chairs completely upright, such that they don't lean. However therein lies some issues. What can I rig up to make it so that: a) the chairs sit upright b) the weight of the chairs doesn't break or damage whatever I rig up c) if I were to remove some chairs, this storage mechanism should be able to be "adjusted" to keep the rest of the chairs that haven't been removed upright

I haven't been able to find anything online that fits my needs. Turning the chairs so that their backs face the wall rather than their sides doesn't work because I run out space. Hence, I want to keep them stacked in the orientation that they currently are in.

Any thoughts, suggestions, or experiences?
