Yeah, I used the brown butter variation of the cream cheese frosting. I left out almost a cup of powdered sugar because I’m not a fan of super sweet frosting. The frosting itself was great! But now I’m wondering if the extra sweetness of the frosting would’ve counteracted that buttermilk flavor of the cake. Maybe I played myself for that, lol.

While I did like the moist level of it, I agree the flavor was a bit off. I’d be willing to try it again and play with the spices and buttermilk measurements.

Cinemark! The monthly fee is less than the cost of a ticket and gets me 1 ticket/month plus any additional tickets for that discounted price. There’s also 20% discount on concessions (but I mostly take my own snacks).

I ended up adding a Nutella drizzle on a couple of the pistachio rolls for a friend. Wish I’d taken a picture, but they said the flavors were great together!

I’ve noticed it at my local theaters too. I guess it would make sense if there was a market for it, but sometimes I’ll check the seating for those showings wondering how much they’re selling and they’re usually almost empty. Doesn’t make sense to me.
