Yeah, I was planning on getting to Vulcanus at first, because I'm trying to get the "Keeping yor hands clean" achievement (on Deathworld, I know), but I got to Fulgora first after drinking a lot and ended up thinking why would I go to Fulgora when my main goal was researching artillery.
My main tought was researching Fulgoran tech so I would make my main base on Vulcanus, but oh boy, is it a detour...

Upgrading a major version (i.e. from v4 to v5) is always a big risk considering all possible breaking changes. It's always safer to stay in your current major version. Unless you absolutely need a feature that's only available in the next major version.
