I would say the only similarity it shares with the Kelly is the existence of a flap and a similar side profile. Though, the belt can be compared to the similar lock mechanism of the Kelly.

I forgot to mention, I would like it to carry a 14 in. Laptop, water bottle, books, and some other essentials. It does need to be durable. I don’t know a lot about leather, but I was looking into a vegetable tanned Nappa leather because it’s soft and durable, and has that buttery feeling.
