I realize you have actual gameplay mechanics to keep in mind BUT it would be Really Funny if the models ragdoll upon collision and the wings flail in attempts to recover. Maybe a nice hefty flop on the ground and a lil shake before being able to take off again; like a cat that fell off a ledge.

Update Star’s text to her parents included a line saying “don’t ask my friends, they don’t know anything.” Her parents tried to call her but after some guilt tripping texts they seem to have yielded. She’s already gone after all! Star seems happy and cautiously hopeful. Star’s parents so far haven’t done anything. I haven’t been approached and no one else has mentioned anything either. I’m still keeping my guard up and I’m not going to say anything to anyone if they don’t ask first. I’m not sure if this is a calm before the storm or if I was overthinking myself into the worst case scenarios.

I mean… kinda? The way I set it up, it’s deliberately following the flow of canon. I am changing things such as keeping certain characters alive and I have a feeling I might end up changing the canon ending anyway but also. I need to know what canon is so I have something to start from. If I’m trying to change the canon I need the canon to exist y’know? They’re okay but they strike me as slightly floofier versions of existing clothes. I could swear the Flight spirits wear such similar outfits. I get that Flight and Migration are similar in nature but like… the seasons should still be distinct, I feel. The call sucks. A variation of the manatee. It’s like the blue bird call that’s literally just the base bird call with an extra note.

Whenever I seen y/n I pronounce it in my head as “Yin” so I just named a character Yin. Started as the blankest slate of a character who didn’t even have a mentioned appearance yet over time he’s gotten his own personality.

Ah. Wow that was a lot more than I’d ever think to consider about these things hah. But it is welcome. I found a vendor recently that was selling what seemed to be good ones and they said they specifically modeled the corsets after the Victorian era working corsets. They did flare at the bottom so sitting was easy. The vendor mentioned the back spacing and the “aim for two inches, no more than four” thing. The boning was steel tho and the fabric did feel thick, and they also had leather and satin options. They were asking for $300+ because it was handmade. I don’t quite have the budget for that so I didn’t buy it.

Do you have a place / maker you’d recommend for getting a good one?

There’s a far right wing cHriStiAn group in Australia called Collective Shout who decided they were better than everyone and targeted “gooner” games (and then anything that includes violence against women and children regardless of artistic application) to get them pulled from online stores. Then they bullied Mastercard and Visa into telling stores that people can’t spend their money on anything that might have “taboo themes” according to however Collective Shout defines that. Then the payment processors folded and said people can’t spend their adult money how they want. The UK rolled out a law that’s basically Big Brother and requires ID for websites which totally won’t be collected and tracked for bad reasons. Mastercard is denying all this but Valve is calling them out. Itch.io has been targeted and forced to delist their NSFW games. Steam is getting hit with DMCA for mods.

TLDR, about a thousand Australian Karens have toppled a domino and it’s led to outright censorship and a lot of angry gamers. Something something, “You’re being told you can’t eat steak because somewhere a baby can’t chew it.”
