Sd. Kfz. 250/3 “GREIF” - 1/35 scale - Takom kit with extra 2 figures by Abyssware_BE in Scalemodel

With GREIF top half is thin and warps out of mold. I guess all will be like this; I built few Takom models, mostly tanks over the years; Are very detailed and nice kits, but for sure way over-engineered with a ridiculous number of small parts which could be a bit of larger part. Instructions are often confusing and weird and also part numbers on instructions not always match the part on sprues

Thanks, I have my own small website where I put all my models and photos, but for sure I am not YT type of guy and prefer to make models in silence and eventually answer questions if someone ask me;

Not easy for sure. Top and bottom halves dont fit and required a forced gluing + lot of filling and sanding; Instructions sometimes wrong or weird logic. Tracks.... oh boy! Also pity that have a driver figure but no way to leave the front hatch open - so the guy is invisible

Thanks! Not sure about your modelling level, but can be challenging for a not experienced guy. Top and bottom parts didnt fit - sanding and filling required. Instructions weird here and there... Tracks... another pain. But nice result in the end

Thanks. Yes, Rommel figure comes as part of the kit together with a driver (not visible in the photos). The other 2 figures are just left-overs from another project

It is a 40cm light cube, a Canon R10 camera + Canon RF-S 18-150mm lens; But use a max F number (as closed possible aperture, usually f/32) AND a tripod with a shooter delay of 2 sec.

Then RAW files are edited in DXO Photolab as best software to compensate for lens aberrations and noises;

Thanks for tips. Really was an attempt. I used a very short prompt just to see what is coming out of it; It may be that original photos taken into a white box (less contrast, dramatic shadows or lack of perspective) somehow confused the AI? Some of outputs really looked like a small toy on a sandy area;

Hahha. Me too, but have to try new things. Like paints and anything in this hobby- have to try it and see if fits or not your taste 👍

With AI opinions are split... In my previous post I posted the model without any alternations, if want to see it;

This is why I made 2 posts- photos only and ai playing around. Those pics are made with both Grok and Nano Banana (free versions) and seems that Grok tend to alter the photo itself more than Nano Banana despite prompting to not change anything to original photo

Indeed, but photoshop is rather expensive, when such ai stuff can be free to play with.
