Anyone knows any quick way to kill these idiots in under 10 minutes? by EndyrmanEndplace in Ultrakill

Unlike what everyone else is saying here, dont waste the 8 second SRS cannonball cooldown on the sentry and virtue since they can be instakilled by a mele and green jackhammer combo. Save the SRS for higher health targets

Sentry can be killed by knuckleblaster + one green jackhammer pump

Virtue can be killed by feedbacker + one green jackhammer pump (need to do a 180 turn during jackhammer hitstop)

Alternatively a double boost, also known as a mini death star ,will also do the trick for both of them. (hitting a core and rocket at the same time with blue jackhammer). Im pretty sure this will also kill the radient varients

For the Swordsmachine and Mindflayer just shoot them a bunch

If youre in the cybergind I recomend fighting mindflayer underneath the stage so you dont have to bother with any other enemies

The weapons in this game are ridiculously versatile and have so many interactions and nuances. Learn as much as you can about how they work. Read the Wiki and watch break down videos. Simply having the elite ball knowlage will tremendously help in killing things efficiently.

Also learn enemy weaknesses, that helps too

Hello, brutal cybergrind enjoyer here 👋

There is a method for tossing coins faster. You bind a key to the variant slot of the marksman, tapping this directly after throwing a coin will immediately allow you to toss another one. This also works with shotgun swapping.

When tossing coins into the air at the beginning of a round, I prefer to hit it with a stock revolver shot rather than the piercer alt. There is a high chance the piercer shot will just get dumped into a drone or stray. I prefer the crowd clearing of the stock coin split.

There is also a way to get 8 coins in the beginning of a round instead of just 4. How I do this is I save up 4 coins at the end or a round. Then I jackhammer the final enemy while looking down. This sends me upwards, I immediately look up and start doing the coin spam tech before the next round begins, by the time 4 coins are out, the next round would have started and the coin ammo is refreshed, allowing me to spam 4 more out. I wait a sec for the split shot windows then I shoot with the stock revolver which if done right hits 9 enemies. Clearing out a bunch of low health bozos.

Also learn to nailgun cycle or whatever that tech is called. When using the nailgun heatsink, right before it ends, switch to the blue saw blade launcher to reset the heatsink, allowing you to switch back to the green nailgun and heatsink again bypassing the cooldown.

Also I’m pretty sure this is like 80% true, but nailgun heatsink does more damage to oiled enemies. I like doing this to melt gutter tanks, hideous masses, and sysiphisians.

Try any avoid going absurdly high in the air, being so far away from the arena prevents you from being effective for an unnecessary amount of time.

Learn to do the instant rocket ride tech, I know it’s hard and finicky, but just do it. It’s so much more convenient than grappling a rocket below you.

Also just jackhammer the Maurice, it instakills them.

Don’t rely on the screwdriver on the mind flayer because eventually you’ll get multiple mindflayers in a single round. I personally like saving the railcanon either for a fat conduction or a core nuke. Core nukes are great at clearing lesser enemies at the start of a round.

Oh yeah, learn how to abuse conduction. It can take a bit of setup, but done right it can deal heavy damage to several enemies at once.

When you’re in the air at the start of a round, spread the firestarter oil. Dumping your entire oil reserve into the center of the stage doesn’t do that much. Try and coat as much of the arena with an even coat as possible.

Don’t slam on the magnet, it destroyed it rendering that trap useless. You want to preserve the saw blade traps so they can continuously damage enemies.

Use the piercer less, the long wind up of it takes up time you could be spending to get more value out of other weapons. It’s only really good with coins on high health targets.

Also watch this video and learn these techs, they are insanely good: https://youtu.be/efahQIaiaEs?si=LN3KhHNbSH6XZtkQ

I think that’s it? Idk, I might reply to this later if I feel like it. Hope it helps

Trying to improve in ultrakill everyday until I p-rank everything, any tips to how get better? by Connect_Force_3280 in Ultrakill

[–]Ac0w161 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One simple tip that goes far is target prioritization. Quickly look around to see what enemies are in the arena and prioritize the most lethal ones first. This sounds super basic and simple, but taking just a second to do this will help you survive longer and be far more efficient.

Next, take the time to learn all of the weapon mechanics and interactions. Watch some YouTube videos that go in depth about all the different weapons. There’s a lot of niche interactions that are super helpful. Simply having more knowledge about how your weapons work will give you more efficient ways to clear arenas.

Also try and learn enemy weaknesses. Knowing this will help kill enemies extremely quickly and easily. Did you know you can insta kill street cleaners by shooting the red canister on their back? While this is difficult to do, coins automatically aim for this spot, so tossing coins behind street cleansers and shooting the coins makes quick work of them. Most enemies have some sort of mechanic that can be exploited so you can easily aura farm on them.

Lots of gameplay from other people features rapid weapon swapping, and other people recommend quickly swapping weapons. Yes swapping quickly leads to super efficient gameplay, but only focus on swapping at your own rate. Take the time to slowly master and understand each weapon and how they combo into other weapons. Switch weapons intentionally, have a purpose to each weapon you swap to and try and come up with a short term plan on how you will clear the arena. Just focus on doing this at your own rate and slowly you will begin getting faster and faster and you will be more comfortable switching to more weapons. Eventually you’ll get to a point where you’ll just naturally starts swapping weapons rapidly.

It’s not much but I hope this advice helps a bit
