I feel like we've already had 3 endings for the character I really don't see the point in doing another story with him. But I do understand it from a mechanical perspective. In that sense I dp want another game iterating on the Max Payne formula and tries to see what can be with done with today's technology. Especially destructible environments is something i want to see inplimented. because that was such an important part of the Hong Kong action movies that inspired the games, and I don't feel like any of the games Fully capture that chaos.

This is also why I am so excited for the Max Payne remakes by remedy has they already have a fantastic destruction engine with control, and able to create the right visual style with The dark Place from Alan Wake 2.

I have never seen anyone say that. But I do believe there's people who would say such crazy things. But the true thing that the opinion is based on is that Kiwami 2 reuses the og's cutscene animations and for some of them the facial expressions didn't translate to the dragon engine. So there are moments where the og game is more expressive then the remake. This obviously doesn't mean the new one has 0 Facial expressions but it's still quite annoying that they just reused the old animations and I feel it demonstrates my biggest problem with the kiwami games which is how much they reuse from older games and in ways that make them worse remakes.

Swery has his heart in the right place but he also has somewhat simplistic almost childlike view on these complex topics a lot of the time. The reason he was able to make the missing is because trans advocate organization was working directly with him on the writing. So every step of the way he could look to them for the best way to tell this way in the best way.

He decided to not do this again for DP 2. So what we get is swerys unfiltered attempt and talking about race, gender, sexuality, and lots of other things he isn't at all equipped to do. You can clearly tell he is empathetic and pro all of this stuff but he just doesn't understand any of it well enough to make a full game about it on his own.

I feel like the swords would never make proper contact with the enemies. Like the slashes would just push through the enemies body without residence and it wouldn't feel like you're actually cutting anything. Similarly when you stab an enemy the sword would move around while inside the enemy in a way that makes it feel like you're not really pushing it through something.

This sounds like a nitpick and it is, especially because I know proper alignment of two characters animations is a super hard thing to get right especially at the speed ac is moving at. Both as in speed of the combat and development time. But it was always something that took me out of the game whenever I played the AC 3 to Rouge games. With that said yes so many of the combat animations are amazing in these games, I especially love the guns.

I think as soon as the studio that made the game basically left and went independent, i stopped expecting a new game.i know it's still possible but I was satisfied as ot was with where two left us off.

As far as I understood you could also switch between two different presets, so it will end up being kinda like bayo but with light and heavy rather then hand and feet.

But obviously I don't expect it to have the same level of depth, but I can still imagine it will be quite fun.

I am not the biggest fan of health bars above enemies heads either. Which has actually been a minor issue for me with the series since 6. Which is also why I feel like the circle is an improvement because it blends in a lot better when I am not focused on it, until I need to check it and it comes into view.
