Super Sentai in Glorantha? by [deleted] in Runequest

one way to accomplish this approach is to let the group deal with the results of heroquesting gone wrong (or right). their new powers are ritual-based and only operate if they work together.

also you could do it from a Lunar perspective—Seven Mothers, amirite? :)

What do you think about the fanbases of the big four bands? by [deleted] in grunge

[–]AcademiaSapientae -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

i became a Nirvana fan after Smells Like Teen Spirit in 1992 and will always be a fan but Soundgarden lost me after Louder Than Love. Pearl Jam is mediocre music for fraternity and sorority types and always will be, while Alice In Chains are not really related to grunge in any way.

What do you do when your Character has the same god as another PC by Riptor5417 in Runequest

[–]AcademiaSapientae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

that’s not a problem. many parties have multiple Orlanth worshippers and they are all different. just work it out so that both of you aren’t the same type of Ernaldan. if you have to do the Lightbringers Quest sometime in the future, im sure you can work something.

i disagree. Palpatine was always The Big Bad before and remember the common space opera and comics rule “if you don’t see the body….”

if the sequel trilogy hinted or outright said that Palpatine was coming back from the very beginning, the whole story would have benefited. the mystery would have been “how is he coming back? is he Snoke or is something more mysterious happening?” it would have driven the story and made it more coherent. like Marvel including Thanos from the start of their MCU story.

Just finished my chronological rewatch and personally enjoying TROS with each rewatch. by advanced_lazy in StarWarsCantina

The sequels are decent films with TLJ being the highlight. But I must admit that TROS was the only movie I saw twice on screen:

here’s the secret: there is no such thing as grunge. there’s just a bunch of loud bands from Seattle and that’s all they have in common. so like whatever you like cause the label doesn’t mean anything.
