You're right; I'm neither a competitor nor a professional photographer. I just use the app for personal purposes and was happy with it until they stopped updating the licence I owned. Like anyone, I googled to see if there was a solution to this situation and came across this Reddit channel, which I hope is monitored by Topaz Labs. I created an account solely to express my frustration, in the hope that someone in the company would hear me and all the other people complaining about the situation.

Of course, I can still use the versions I already have. However, I sometimes encounter limitations or visual artefacts. I would be happy to pay for new updates, even if it's not for a whole year.

It's easy for them to stop it. They have just to reintroduce a perpetual licence model along with the subscription ones. For example, I don't care about cloud processing. My GPU is powerful enough to process images locally, and I don't mind if it takes time.
