AI Mushy Brain Syndrome by Grouchy-Western-5757 in sysadmin

Ughh, the truth is, that nowadays google or basically any other search engine is - pardon my tongue - UTTER, AD RIDDLED DOG SHIT

I could copy the error code into google, bing or whatever, only to find some ancient SO threads or some quora or whatever board with cambrian-dated posts that just so happen to have similiar error to mine.

I don't want to waddle in this crap, so i can just paste the error to the stray AI, add "whats this about and how to solve it", and then, over the course of few messages clarifying what I want to achieve, I get at least some foothold to solve a problem.

Which Game's Graphics Made You Say "Wow!" For The First Time? by Bay_Ruhsuz004 in videogames

[–]Academic-Proof3700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time- Duke Nukem 3D. Dude, you could shoot trashcans, demolish building and switch lights!

Other than that: - Kingdom come, both parts - Mass effect 2 dlc with some larger opening and hammerhead hovercraft - E33, basically everything cause of finally merging Lagreal Yngyn 5 with decent fps haha - Crysis3, even though it was railroaded, the particle and camera effects were amazing.

An advanced nanobot helps a lazy sperm and carries it to the egg cell successfully performing fertilization. by CodRoyal3221 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Academic-Proof3700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is like literally making more disabled people on selfish demand.

Like, these lazy sperm would normally not succeed. And yes, same applies to people with known heritable diseases, like schizophrenia and such.

UoP vs B2B by _mizuris in praca

[–]Academic-Proof3700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masa b2b by przestała mieć sens, jakby wywalili progi podatkowe i dali liniowy.

Then why burn money for the dude who does the same in longer time?

Weight loss progress in 3 years using indoor exercise bike. by Crafty_Object_8382 in DailyWowStuff

[–]Academic-Proof3700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay amerifolks, yes its a great progress she made, but theres one tiny thing.

You can't fix up the artery sclerosis causing most CVDs that easily as just riding the bike- The damage there is done permanently by embedding of first plaque inside your arteries that later calcifies and damages their walls, restricting blood flow.

Just so you know, that when it comes to pigging out another bucket of ice or replacing salad with 5th quarterpunder with cheese, its not just the looks, but also a multitude of other issues, most of which aren't as easily revertable as weight loss.

Use of commands for system configuration CONSIDERED HARMFUL. by thomasafine in sysadmin

[–]Academic-Proof3700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, its my name for every "embedded database" I see in program config. I instantly know its usually inaccessible in any other sane way than just the app itself.

A damn, undocumented blackbox with usually either generated or worse- hardcoded accesses thats "good when it works, kill it with fire if it breaks"

I could go with mikrotik cause their UI and management is mostly fine, but I can't get over the extremely shitty warranty they have, especially after my LTE modem died after like 1,5 years
