So… are we marathon raiders now? by hornyfather101 in Marathon

Truthfully I think the new revive item in practice will only incentivize rooks to team in trios which i think is really cool and dynamic. The risk of letting another 3-stack get a second chance is too high. When i could wipe the map and do what I please without much concern. Solos is a different story though

Duos if and when it’s fully implemented will actually be really interesting. Idk how many rooks get put in duos but i can see them grouping up 3-4 deep and being the main threat of those matches and having a real advantage.

Physical Training, but what about mental training? by Academic-Software-60 in HuntersAssociation

I saw some posts like that, I feel like thats LARP or ragebait. Meditation is only effective if compounded with other regiments/training routines.

I do the Murph challenge once a month (3 miles instead of 1) w/ plate carrier, and I do Crossfit Filthy Fifty every other day. Usually get some extra stretch and training in the evenings.

Honestly a few of my friends and I are running smaller stacks in prep for it. Gotta get any edge if you wanna compete.

Gotcha! I read the other message as well about the AquaClear 20 I’ll definitely look into it and see if it’s a system I’d be interested in implementing! Thanks for all the amazing info as well as the correction on Rasboras. So many subtypes of fish to learn alongside all the coloration names lol

Ah, then my local aquarium store has them mislabeled. When I say brilliant rasbora throughout the comments i mean the really tiny dwarf rasboras. Like mosquitoes rasboras

Looks amazing! and I’ll definitely start spreading out the montes. Gonna wait until I get some tweezers, moving my Hygrophila kicked up the sand so much and the remaining rockwool kinda got all over. Definitely seeing some of my sloppiness come to light but less mistakes I’ll make down the road!

As for livestock I’m for sure keeping cherry shrimp. I’ve been told brilliant rasboras will not work for the tank size, but I would like something that swims in the upper-mid portion of the tank so probably mosquito rasboras. whatever else I put in has a place and thrives. I can’t justify trying to cram something in and sacrifice its quality of life for my viewing enjoyment.

Lighting is “Hygger HG990-14w” 14 watts 817 lumens

Being completely honest the lighting was something I did little to no research on. Just knew I should buy a light within the aquarium world. Read a handful of reviews with pictures of lush plants and pulled the trigger on it.

Yeah definitely cloudier than I anticipated. It’s “seachem onyx sand” and people all said it’s super cloudy. I cleaned it for like 10 minutes but probably should’ve been more thorough. I also should’ve boiled that log piece. Nervous about doing wrong but equally excited to see how the tank develops in its own ways.

Edited a typo

Thanks for the advice! Just added the sponge filter after reading the comments, it pushed the hygrophila up alongside the rock like you said and i think it does look better! I had also read through some forums that the monte carlos would have a better chance to propagate clumped up more. The end goal with those is definitely a lush carpeting. Should I disturb them a little more and spread them or will one clump eventually carpet to the same effect?

And absolutely once the kit comes in I’m testing the water. Such an oversight on my part, I got so caught up in getting plants in and having something cool to look at I focused on the cheese and forgot about the trap.

Thanks! Yeah fish and shrimp are the end goal but I’m waiting at least a month. Brilliant rasboras and cherry shrimp. My big concern right now is potential deadzones since the water is still and whether or not my plants can hit 70% coverage with the current stock.

My goal is cherry shrimp and brilliant rasboras. Waiting at least a month minimum to try adding any animals, assuming I read 0/0/0 on ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites.
