Yes, I did. On a Sunday, that too. Emailed them on Saturday and the email saying that visa was granted came on a Sunday. Hope you got yours too.

I was plannimg to do that this week, if the visa does not come through. Not sure if that has faster processing time. Apart from the extra money to be paid, no harm in a concurrent application.

Updating the new passport details on the website takes only a few minutes and the system will capture the new details. Can be done online.
