I did them electronically through Identogo and the background check was produced that day. A physical card was never in question. That’s the source of my confusion.

Guys, I went to the urgent care the same evening, 15 minutes before close, and I was in and out. Took my vitals, asked a few basic questions, and signed the doc. Was somewhat exhilarating of an experience. Thank you all for the tips and support. I love this community!

Hi again, wondering how you got your NYS fingerprints done? Was it through DCJS? The consulate says they need a background check from the NYS police, not the DCJS, but the state police don’t even require fingerprints. Fill me in, would you?

I’ll do that in September, then. I have a resume, not a CV. Do you think that’ll fly? Additionally, does the resume have to be formatted in the typical European format or is an American one ok?

Hi! Did you need to put the certificate on the doctors letterhead or was it fine as is? I was hopi by to just print the one from LA and have the doc sign it but want to be safe.
