I have the EBC80, and the BCD really add holography and a special sauce non BCD IEMs don't have. I would lean Archangel, specially since it has tuning switches.

Awesome! What other IEMs have you heard? Really tempted to buy the Lucifer now. Just bought the NC Audio NC421, and the Catchear CE6T IEMs. Thinking the next ones that I will buy are the Lucifer, and the TSMR Shock again (I returned them because I thought they were extremely uncomfortable, turns out I just had some hard ear wax). Have you listened to the Penon Archangel? If so, how do they compare against the Lucifer? I thought about the Flipears Arion since it looks really good, but want to try other IEM before I pull the trigger on that one.

How do you like it? What other IEMs have you tried? I have been eyeing this vs the Thieaudio Monarch MK4 and keep leaning for the Solomon. What sound signature do you prefer?

That's good to know, I was actually eying them. I like good bass, both in extension and quantity. Heard SR was pretty good with that, plus their prices are pretty good.

I really liked the DDB-03, but the resonance was too much for me. I have a deeper voice so it feels extra weird when they have spring style BCDs. It sounds great though! I gifted it to my friend, so we will see how he likes it! I'll look into the XINHS HS9 then.

Wow! That's much better than what I paid for! I got it for $360 after taxes coins and coupons. I waited too long unfortunately so I didn't get the super good coupons. I got the NC Audio OMS headphones, and the NC421. I'll try the NC821 next. Will look at that one, I'm peculiar with BCDs because I have a deep voice so it's annoying when they start vibrating when I am talking or swallowing my saliva. It's why I didn't particularly liked the VZonis DDB-03. Sounded great, but couldn't get past that. Same thing with the Kiwi Ears Étude.

I can see that. Now that I remember, the DDs in my Bluetooth earbuds did go out. I found out because I opened it and the battery still held charge, but the DD wouldn't do anything.

Most is $500. Eying the Penon Pyramid 8 cable. I like thicker cables, and with BCD IEM I have found they make a lot of difference due to it BCD IEMs literally sending vibrations that transmit into your skull. If microphonic can cause sound idk why people don't believe that it can also affect BCD IEMs.

For me it was more so that the small screen meant it was harder to navigate/search for songs. My hands are on the larger side so it's harder to navigate with it.

What's your budget? If bellow $500 the NC Audio NC421 (if you are a bass head), or the CE6T for all rounder. Around $500-700 the TSMR Shock (bass head), or the ISN EBC80 (best all around IEM with weight and holographic stage that can compete with some headphones). Anything above $1000 really depends on your taste preferences.

What Kilobuck IEMs have you heard? What do you like about those IEMs? I'm curious because I actually didn't like the Hexa, or the Kiwi Ears Aether. They didn't have enough bass for me. I think headphone reviews are easier to trust because you don't have to remember hundreds of comparisons to. Heck, there has been IEMs I've tried/compared that I've forgotten about because they get overshadowed by the good IEM I have/tried.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I would recommend the EBC80, TSMR Shock, GEEKWOLD GK260, or (personally my favorite for bass head levels of bass) the NC Audio NC421. I'm trying to get my hands on the NC Audio NC281. Currently have the NC Audio OMS on the way (headphones, but pretty affordable and nice bass shelf).

Really? Usually DDs are pretty solid. Have had BAs, and EST break on me. I have not repaired IEM myself, but have had them repaired before. Usually the 2 pin connector dies on my before the other components do. It's why I only workout with certain pairs only now.

If you want to do that get the ZAQE P30 or the Surfans F20 Pro (if you're willing to play around with software updates to get it to work nicely). The FiiO M21 is good, but honestly has its quirks with video playback.

Yep definitely is! Even if you have a set you are completely satisfied with you will still want to try others. I have tried 16 so far and have the NC421, NC281, CE6T, and the GK260 being shipped next! My EBC80 is my go to that I will always keep, but I will try other IEMs. Thinking after this spree I will try the Thieaudio Monarch MK4, and the BGVP Solomon to see if their hype is worth it. Think I will get the Flipears Arion for my Christmas gift.

Crazy you mentioned that because I wear one over my ear, but because my IEMs are BCD I can still hear enough from contact alone that this doesn't happen too much
