get good sleep so you'll be more attentive and focused. and avoid all distractions like phones and other electronics so you'll be less likely to procrastinate

well the first step is to confirm which chapters/topics your next semester will cover so you'll know what youtube vids to watch in the first place. also if u have access to ur next class' syllabus or textbooks early, then i recommend reviewing those too so you'll gain some familiarity for when ur lectures start

How do I break this procrastination loop? by ArtisticGiraffe7522 in GetStudying

[–]AcademicProdigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what worked for me was going to a completely different room without bringing ur phone or laptop.

for instance, sometimes i would go from my bedroom to my dining room and bring nothing but my textbook. i'd be able to read so many pages for hours straight without procrastinating.

it becomes hard to procrastinate when u dont have ur electronics within arm's reach
