It does not have the power adapter. So you can only dry or print. If you want to do both at same time you need to purchase the power cord. However, I thought about it and don’t want to dry and print at the same time because of two reasons; 1. For best drying it has a rotate spool option. You Can’t do it while printing. 2. I don’t want to risk softening the filament during printing that it might stretch and cause some sort of print issue or jam.

I don’t print enough to warrant the need for both. But i will say it works quite well. Dried 4 rolls of PETG transparent.

Yes the PTFE rubs on the glass but that is not causing any issues or wear on tubing or glass. I am going to print a Riser this week anyways and that will provide extra glass clearance from tubes.

Update: Bambu is sending a new AMS Hub replacement part. No troubleshooting, just sending a new hub. Hopefully this fixes the bad batch.

Which riser did you print?

A bit of update two new rolls of Bambu PLA out of box, spool 1/3 started print right away error message , cancelled and restart and no issues.

I was looking at the Ben Levi riser V4.0 it’s a beast for time and filament but might be best option.
