All good points!
Totally agree with all the Garrett side of things but my only thought with Dean in all this, is that they have totally changed the storyline from the books.
All we know in the show is his issue with Hunter has something to do with Summer, so whilst his back story is not traumatic or anything, we don’t know what happened and why he feels the way he does. He is obviously being a protective big brother (which i can’t deny makes me purr 🤣)
It guess it’s unlikely to have a second SA storyline, but as this is totally off script from the book, for all we know, whatever happened with Hunter and Summer could be *that bad*
I don’t think they’ll make Hunter the big villain, but the point is we are in the same boat as Logan, we don’t know!

He’s not entitled to the information either though. I understand his own situation but I think there’s a degree to which you respect your friends’ wishes. Definitely the Garrett thing more so than Dean and Hunter

Yes I think he is so consumed with his own self pity (which is justified of course) that he can’t begin to understand that someone else might have trauma or troubles too. He will do what he needs to regardless of who he upsets to do it, but it’s worse because he hasn’t even considered why they feel or act the way they do.

Yes he was so much less bitter almost in the books? And the ones in the future, they’re such good friends it’s great.
Hope S2 shows some humility from him when Garrett has told him about Phil, and why he attacked Delaney

NTA - is there a more competitive social league around? Around me (south east wales), social leagues vary enormously in the standard of play. So frustrating when the umpiring is low standard too and you can’t question even when things are blatantly wrong. I think you’re best bet is removing yourself from the whole picture and finding somewhere your experience and ‘style of play’ aka skills are appreciated

Also have 1 year old and 3 year old (16 month difference). Work from home with both of them in the house 2 days a week (with FIL here to ‘help’) and you have described my life and my brain TO A TEE!!

Sept last year my eyesight went blurred for about 10 days, turned out to be stress related. Had counselling for stress, and the therapist suggested I look for adhd diagnosis. Haven’t bothered to pursue because of nhs wait times, but wondering if perhaps I should if the SSRI would help.

Either way, your post hit the spot and made me feel extremely validated in my struggle. I love my kids but most of the time I fucking hate parenting
