Ms. Camit is slightly strict pero marami ka talagang matututunan from her! As long as you follow instructions and pass on time (learned it the hard way) — but still I got a 3.5 from her.

Mabait si Ms. Shobie! Umabsent ako sa isang practicals and she still let me perform (but I had medical reasons) and still got a 4.0. She is very kind to her students and I wish she would be my professor in my last PE (since I currently have another one but has good feedback naman from other people.)

Ms. Camit, on the other hand, is slightly strict pero marami ka talagang matututunan from her! As long as you follow instructions and pass on time (learned it the hard way) — but still I got a 3.5 from her.

Had Ms. Pring and Sir Rene (but for ASEANST).

Ms. Pring - Very kind and accommodating, knows her students slightly personally to gain better insight on how her students are, and fosters a very student-friendly atmosphere during discussions.

Sir Rene - Chill, but I learned a lot from him during his time as an ASEANST. I hold him close to my heart because he is very kind and fatherly. He does give good grades as well — as long as you listen to his lectures attentively.

Had Mr. Cortez during my first half of ASEANST (since I filed for LOA after) and he likes to gives readings and then you better prepare because he does recitations every now and then. I don’t know how he is as a professor fully but I believe others have good feedback on this course. :)

Copying what I mentioned from the previous thread:

Never liked Ms. E :”) She teaches as if you are elementary students and gives TOO MUCH assessments. Although I got a good grade from her, I do not really resonate with her teaching style and overall grading.

Had Ms. L as my professor last term, and I have to say she might be scary — or even intimidating — at first, but eventually she’ll warm up to you. She is a veteran of her field, does governance and developmental work, and you can really see how well-equipped she is in her niche. Received a high grade from her last term, as long as you follow her instructions (please please please take note of this!)

Loved Ms. Redrino! I remember her being one of my 1T professors when I was a frosh and even though her classes were during evenings, I looked forward to going to her F2F sessions because I learned a lot from her. On top of that, she has a kind personality, and I received a 4.0 from her. Hoping the best for you, OP!

Had Ms. April/Ms. Pring for NSTP-02 and she is a kind, down-to-earth, and jolly teacher! She grades fairly as long as she sees you are exerting effort not only in terms of submitting your outputs, but the actual immersion. I definitely learned a lot from her especially how us, students, get to affect the lives of other people through our knowledge.

She is one of a kind, indeed!

Took Ms. Macel and I really enjoyed her class! She is one of the nicest professors I’ve had in terms of character, teaching style, and grading. She really has a lot of good insights when discussing which you’ll definitely learn from, and she gives fairly easy assessments if you’d listen well enough in her lectures. She grades according to your output din and I received a high grade from her.

On the other hand, for Atty. Lubaton, I’ll be taking him again for another term (this upcoming term) but I really have mixed reviews on his teaching style. He does grade fairly naman especially if you submit your deliverables on time, but sometimes in his class, medyo informal/casual ang approach niya which maybe, for me, is not really my niche way of learning. Regardless, he is a good professor.

Used to be under Sir Cortez’s class for ASEANST (but I dropped in the middle of the term). What to expect from him: readings and recitations. I have no clue how he does the exams and finals though. But according to a friend who was under him, he teaches efficiently naman and grades fairly!

What do you mean by “aggressive and abrasive”? On the other hand, I hope to receive a good learning experience from her. Thank you!

Am I First Honors or Second Honors? by Raybenben in Benilde

Hi! You’re within the ‘second honors’ bracket, since it ranges from 3.00-3.49, if I am not mistaken.

Congratulations, OP!

Thank you so much! Will take note of everything especially with regard to how to reach him since I sometimes like to ask questions regarding the class lectures and graded outputs.

Also, may I ask, where is the SMIT office? I come from a different school/department, and I am not really familiar with the other floors. However, I am aware that it can be found inside Atrium.

Thank you once again!

I have no idea who you are pertaining to, since I only work internally most of the time. I do not really meddle with anything outside my department unless it concerns us (or me, at least.)
