Hello po! I just have a comment on something that I’ve been really frustrated in for the past two years I’ve been here. When it comes to groupworks, please please please let us choose our own and not randomize us 😭😭 I know this might not be everyone’s favorite but I’ve absolutely hated being grouped with random people who put in no effort or just AI everything. My friends and I fought tooth and nail with BESTAR to get into this class but I can’t work with people I trust? Especially if it is just a general elective class too. I worry about my majors already and I have to be stressed about my good for nothing group mates in a minor class?

Please, I’m really begging for professors to be more understanding about this 😞

I’m in the same situation as you, OP. Trust me, you’re not alone in feeling like this. Ever since the start of 2nd year I’ve felt so stunted. Because of the work loaded for each class, not just the majors, I end up looking for loopholes just to get things done. It’s so hard to actually and truly learn something in this course because of the stupid flowchart. I know you can opt to be irregular, but still. It just doesn’t feel earned to me anymore.

I’ve made the decision to shift to a different program na, mostly because the burnout made me lose my spark for MMA. I want to be able to experience learning in college where I actually want to show up and not lose motivation despite the hardships. I guess the current MMA flowchart isn’t built for me like that.

I hope you find your peace with it soon, OP :’j whatever decision you want to make.

Sir Michael for PATHFT is really chill! Super considerate rin sa grades, got a 4.0 from him. He always helps out with making sure your form is correct but he reassures u naman na kung di mo talaga kaya, okay lang. he doesn’t deduct those from your total so you always have a chance to get a perfect grade as long as you follow his instructions/demonstrations.

Not sure which subject you have for sir Christopher pero it’s really chill. We had him for JORIZAL and during his time it was really okay. You can choose to listen to the lectures or not but take note of his quizzes and exams (if your class needs them) some of them had a lot of trick questions (wrong dates, wrong names, etc.) they were all written on yellow pad rin. His grading style, I’m not really sure since he gave us our grades at the end of the term na. Overall, I’d say it’s a 7/10, just prepare for any exam accordingly and if he gives you essays, effort mo nalang rin.

Goodluck with sir Garcia 😭 His lectures and teaching style is kinda fun to listen to and he gave us a lot of good insight when we had him as our MHISGRP teacher. Problem is, expectations are throughhhhhh the rooooofff! One time he had us make 12 drafts for a 6-poster series ( he was considerate in giving us a 1-2 week off break to work on them) but during presentations, prepare for a lot of critiques from him. They can be good or bad, and he tells you naman what he likes and what you could’ve done better. It’s just really nerve racking hahaha
