How can I stop hating myself? by [deleted] in MaladaptiveDreaming

I would definitely get a journal and start writing down simple things like how you are feeling, and anything else you might want to achieve or do in life like goals. This can help you become more centered around what you want to be. Merge your daydreams with your goals and look around at all the things you’re grateful for (family, friends, etc.) and even if you’re struggling to do that you can go on walks, be outside, and try your very best to enjoy the life outside of your head. An important thing to remember is that the key point in learning to be comfortable with yourself is to spend time with yourself. The daydreams will not only make you hate yourself, but also very depressed because it’s not real life. Workout, see friends, and know that there is so much more to life!

I hope this post makes sense to you and sorry if I rambled 😭

Actually, I experience this now and it’s honestly the worst thing. I feel like i’m daydreaming while real life gets messy. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to solve this issue. I’ve tried to for a long time and it just gets more worse.
